There were.

According to the blogs and the wiki pregnancy is supposed to be a good size more detailed - such as sim mommy going to the hopsikal (as my little sister put it) when she's gonna have the baby

Other than that it shouldn't deviate too far from the original TS2 formula

About dang time they made it a little more real.

All though I will confess, as I am with child again, that my belly DID NOT pop out like it does in the Sims when you go from first trimester to second. No word yet if spaghetti eating has produced twins. *LOL* So far it looks like I'm just incubating one vs. my sims. Smiley

They say that you can customize your sims endlessly. But now, after I've been roaming around the net and seen alot of pics, it seems that they all still look the same.
Have you guys noticed that at least the mouths and eyebrows ALL look similar?

I kinda hate the look on those new sims...  Undecided

I was thinking that same thing. They do seem to look alike.

What about the personality customizations past zodiac signs and aspirations? You can now pick and choose what personality traits you want your sim to have which will then shape their life.

What about the seamless neighborhoods? No more waiting for a screen to load to go from place to place. Its open-ended.

But I want to know about relationships, Woo-Hoo, the smustle.....How does that all work is TS3?

I will be getting it and transferring my S2 info onto an external hard drive

You need the Nanny Fix from here> http://www.simlogical.com/sl/Sims2Pages/Sims2_Childcare.htm

Apparently the nannies haven't been updated for FT so they can't recognise the cribs. This link explains how to update their files.

How odd is that? I don't think I've had a problem with the nanny and the FT cribs as of yet. Of course, I don't use a nanny much b/c I cheat. >_<

But..I think I'll DL it just in case. I use the FT cribs b/c the base game crib just looks so unsafe.

So in a round about way, I'm saying thank you for taking 5 hours of your time and fixing this issue with the FT crib. You could bill EAxis for your time!

That's a beautiful house! Wow! And I thought I had the occassion to being gifted..

But I must say that I am rather irritated with stairs. I hate stairs. I mean, I use them, but you can never get the stairs to position just right without mucking up your floorplan! But you pulled it off brilliantly. I wasn't saying your positioning of the stairs irritated me. Maxis stairs period.
6  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / The Sims 3 buzz/gossip/rumours on: April 01, 2008, 10:41:23 am
I was excited when I read the news of a Sims 3 but then I realized, I'm still very attached to my Sims 2. And despite having a rocking computer that could actually handle the Sims 3, I do  believe I will boycott The Sims 3. Why? Because did you SEE the "overweight" sim? Holy cow, that's terrible! Its a slap in the face and an insult to anyone that it overweight. One article I read used "fat" and "disgusting" in the same sentence.

And who is this game marketed to? Should a 13 year old be allowed to play a game where a character is either evil or has commitment issues? It seems they are cornerning the more adult market here more than anything.

I'm also wondering how hard it will now be to create custom content and mods for the game? Will EA decide to crush those that create this content for those of us that say, "Poo on your shoes, EA!" by stopping people from creating content that works with the game?
7  Simmers' Paradise / FreeTime Help / Freetime Crash Issues on: March 24, 2008, 09:10:40 am
I can't offer any help, just sympathy. My game started crashing right before I got Free Time and its just been getting worse. Some lots are worse than others. I'm convinced its some form of CC. But I don't know what. I've started with hacks and am working my way out to see what would have caused the issue.

Good lucK!
8  Simmers' Paradise / FreeTime Help / Free Time Question on: March 24, 2008, 09:05:25 am
I would bump up the skill in that particular area. I noticed my sims acheived a bronze badge a lot faster with more skill points in that specific area. And I believe it takes awhile anyway to get a badge..
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / The Sims 2 on Windows Vista (Updated 7 Feb 2007) on: March 24, 2008, 09:02:30 am

i'm completely stumped here!! if i'm not in the right place kindly direct me to where i should be posting. thanks!!

No clue, friend.

But I have major game issues. I'm crashing constantly. I can play. And some lots crash more often than others but I'm still crashing. And its been within the last month, more so now that I have Free Time.

Its driving me buggy. I've gotten rid of hacks, downloaded patches, etc and nothing works.

And The Sims 2 and associated expansions run great on Vista. But I was coming off of Windows 2000 NT so of course its going to be better. *LOL*
10  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / iv lost my try for baby option and i cant use the dresser on: February 27, 2008, 02:37:08 pm
I would see if you are running a hack that might not be compatible with your games. I had the InTeenimater installed and then installed Bon Voyage and lost my "try for baby" option. I removed InTeen and it all works now!

I don't know what to tell you. I'm sorry this happened.  I would download th hack conflict utility thingy to see if you had a hack conflict somewhere.

15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Having Twins on: March 22, 2007, 01:12:51 pm
There are mods at MTS2 that allow you to choose. You can also use the Insimenator to get twins.
Or eat spaghetti. Someone once suggested and I tried it and it worked.
