Ok..This is just something I did just now. I'm learning to use Photoshop and this is my third or fourth attempt at putting a sim on a realistic background. Thanks for letting me share! Smiley

And this is just this morning as well. I was practicing. Its not that good..

Thanks all, I'm happy with how she turned out.

She's more beautiful than the actual SJP! (who, IMO, isn't all that great looking..That could just be because she stole my future husband- Matthew Broderick..Wink )
19  A Safe Haven / General Discussion / What Does Heidi Play? on: November 30, 2006, 06:03:07 pm
I usually am always playing TS2..Sometimes I play it on GBA..Or PS2..Or I play Harvest Moon on GBA or PS2..Sometimes I just diddle with my Tamagotchis..Sometimes I play Grand Theft Auto on PS2..Sometimes Black and White when I've got it installed..Sometimes I play Ghost Recon just to pretend to be a sniper for awhile..Sometimes, if I can ever get my hands on it, I like Silent Hill.

Sometimes I can be co-erced into a game of Gran Turismo 4 but I always lose.

21  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / What I'd like to see in The Sims Franchise on: November 29, 2006, 03:55:06 pm
*I think I'd like to see more realistic aging. You have a baby who in three days becomes a toddler who in 5 days becomes a child who in 7 days becomes a teen who in 11 days becomes an Adult who in 20-something days becomes an elder..There's no middle-ground..No pre-teen..No middle-aged sims..There are Young Adults but those are only playable in University.
And along with the realistic aging, how about some realistic looking elders. The last time I saw either set of my grandparents, they don't sag.

*Genetics. I have some beautiful sims and when they reproduce, you want to run for cover because those kids becomes hideous! A little more play in the Maxis eyes. Not everyone is so cut and dry in eye color. And hair color too. Its so generic. No varying shades of red, blonde, brunette, or black.

*I'd love to go to work with my sim. Its why I loved PS2's Urbz: Sims in the City. Because I enjoyed working my sim like a dog...OFB was a huge disappointment. I love building restaurants but when you can only have 8 sims max per lot, what fun is there?

*More realistic skintones. What about a skintone for Native Americans? Or Asian sims?

*Better Maxis houses. I never buy a Maxis house because they are such quagmires. They lack space and sense.

*A better transition from day to night. What happened to dusk?

*The whole time thing. I hate that I leave a lot to go shopping and when I get back home, the time is back to what it was when I left..I've never had that happen in real-life.

*I want a motherlode cheat for real-life..

*Better family-relations..Everyone is designated family..There is no mother, father, sister, brother, half-brother, aunt, uncle, grandma, grandpa, cousin. Its all the same. I hate that.

*A better job market.

*More realistic building options.

And I definately agree with the first person P.O.V.

Maybe people could give me suggestions on what they would like?

Uhm... well, I'm stuck in the house all day, nursing my son who is in chemotherapy.
This is keeping me from going totally crazy - so this is more like occupational therapy for me :sign5:

OMG, you brave brave woman! Bless you!
How old is your son?
23  Simmers' Paradise / Sims Stories / ALL ALONE ( A TEEN STRUGGLE) Opinions on: November 21, 2006, 07:03:57 pm
I didn't even know this was here until tonight! LOL I'm oblivous to certain things in life, I guess.
Been reading some of the entries on here and just wow! There are some cruel people in the world. All you can do is turn your back to it and try not to let it get you down. Sometimes its hard. Other times its easy. Life isn't meant to be easy and each and everything problem we encounter is devised to challenge us to be the best we can be.

My life story ain't that sad. I didn't have it easy ever. I had health problems such as an autoimmune disorder that had it been caught early in life would have saved me tons now. But hey! I was actually 21 when I had my first child. He was born 2 weeks before my birthday. He was supposed to be my birthday baby because his due date was August 5, 2005 and my birthday is August 7th but I had Pre-Eclampsia so they induced me two weeks early. Ah well. He's 16 months old. No plans for siblings yet but I'm praying for a girl in the next year or two! And she will be named Graly. I'm 23 in actuality. Never been to college technically but I am a writer in the spare time that I do have. I did graduate high school, too. Smiley Proudest my mom was of me ever.

This contest has been a great outlet for my frustrations throughout my life. Its great to be express myself creativitely. I'm more the type to suppress. Its absolutely fantastic.
24  Simmers' Paradise / Sims Stories / A Home For Baby- An Adoption Contest on: November 07, 2006, 07:08:05 pm
Kammie,
You hear about women who put their children up for adoption and then some time later after the adoption decide that they want the child back. Do you feel that you'll regret this decision later and seek to get Kiwi back? Both Eldon and I understand that you have yet to tell your parents and wish you all the luck in telling them about your pregnancy. But, our concern is that when you tell your parents about Kiwi and the adoption they will want you to keep Kiwi. Will their insight and opinions on Kiwi and the adoption sway you in any way? Should your parents support the adoption, would they want visitation as well?
