1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Regarding OFB's Uniform/Changing face bug.... on: March 13, 2009, 10:49:05 am
Thanks rwills. I wasn't aware career adjuster would give talent badges- I will have to try that out.  And I don't know if the Prima guide for OFB even mentions it (I've misplaced mine and practically tore the room the book was suppose to be in up) but I always wondered when the list was suppose to update.  Normally when I don't find anyone suitable, I don't hire anyone and just wait then go back.  I find it only changes one or two names and the rest of the sims are still the same.  But I will press on none the less....

2  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Regarding OFB's Uniform/Changing face bug.... on: March 13, 2009, 01:16:30 am
Hi there. Thanks for responding.

It's funny b/c at one time I feel like I remember doing something that allowed me to set a uniform for an employee w/o that happening, but I can't remember what I did if I'm even remembering correctly.  For now, unless/until I can think of something better, I plan to try the tedious thought in my head... We'll see-

I have all EPs up to Freetime and I'm done on that front.  I keep INsim and INteen in my game (although I only use certain aspects of INsim and rarely INteen) and since those mods have run their courses and been updated once and for all, so have I.  So I guess I will keep doing what I've been doing and make employees selectable (Using INsim:) give them the necessary badges (using Squinges hacked painting and/or another hacked badge juicer I got from somewhere) and carry on from there.

Thanks for the suggestions.
3  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Regarding OFB's Uniform/Changing face bug.... on: March 13, 2009, 12:29:46 am
I searched the forums and saw a couple of threads from '07 and '08 that mentioned a bug with OFB where sims faces change when using the mgmt> set uniform option but no one seemed to indicate a possible fix or any hope for one.  I was wondering since some time had passed, if a possible fix/solution has come about or if any modder out there would be willing to initiate one?  Unfortunately for me, I'm a player and know absolutely nothing about modding or creating, but do frequently create businesses in my gameplay and do like a bit of organization and uniformity (literally) in said businesses.  So if anyone knows of something I could try outside of the extremely tedious idea in my head to get around that, I would be most grateful.

Also, I noticed (at least in my game) that when I go to hire employees for my businesses I tend not to get any "qualified" sims as options for employment.  No one seems to have any talent badges of relevance or any other for that matter which irritates me.  If anyone knows of a hack or solution to this, that would helpful as well.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

4  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Want to change Userdata...? on: January 04, 2008, 05:39:38 pm
Hi,
A little help please.  I have a number of custom foods that I would love for my Sims to have the option to choose when eating at Downtown restaurants, but you only get to pick the menu for community lots you own.  Is there a way to put these files in the program files under userdata so that they are automatically an option for downtown lots along with the regular Maxis foods?  If so, where would they go?

Also, as an unrelated question, is there a list of boolProp cheat codes that I could get somewhere?  I see mention of various ones in post sometimes have no idea what most of them are.

Thank for any help!

5  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Adding New Expansions/Backing up and using old files? on: December 26, 2007, 12:23:41 pm
Hello.

I know this question has probably been asked a million and one times but if some patient kind soul could indulge me for a moment, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I have backed up my most recent game files and am installing new expansions and, essentially, all I want to transfer back over are my neighborhoods and characters.  Should I simply drag over just the Neighborhood and possibly SavedSims folders?  Or would I need to replace the entire The Sims 2 folder from "My Documents?"

Thanks for any help!
6  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Deciphering Error Log on: October 14, 2007, 08:26:12 pm
MissDoh.... that was the first site by which I posted my inquiry.  But as many people who visit that site also visit this site, as they say, two heads are better than one.  Thank you........
7  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Deciphering Error Log on: October 14, 2007, 06:41:24 pm
Hello.
I was wondering if anyone could help me decipher what this error log means?  I haven't had problems in my game for many months now and suddenly after removing old Inteen Pets files and installing updated versions of the same files, I get jump bug errors with a new sim I created.  He was created with nothing different than was already in my game so I do not understand the problem.  Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance

8  Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / Clothing Issues..... on: August 16, 2006, 10:20:37 pm
Hi All, Warlokk,
I am happy to report I recently dl'd basically everything in the Hi-Res Bodyshape section for the first time and have made a test sim to see what I'm working with.  All is well, HOWEVER, I find I do not have many (ok, hardly any) clothing options for the 34Cnat-38Hips sim, especially Everday bottoms or Outfits, Formals, PJs, Undies....Ok! basically no clothes but the clothes on her back:sad5: .  I had to save her in CAS without a formal, pj, undie, swimsuit or athletic outfit....  Am I missing something, or has not many outfits in each category for this size been released yet?  I checked the release schedule and 34C is at the bottom somewhere...does this mean I have a long wait??:dontknow:   Any understanding is appreciated.

Thanks!
9  Resident Creators / Squinge's Mods / Apologize replacement animations on: May 23, 2006, 06:54:11 pm
Hi Squinge!

Thank you again for this mod; I use it a lot for on this one lot.  But, you know, it would really be good if I could choose between the regular apologize interaction and this one.  Because some things don't warrant that big of an apology, you know....:tongue5:
If it's not too audacious of me, can I request this change, please!

Thanks so much!

13  Resident Creators / EP3 Mods / Help Squinge!!! on: April 26, 2006, 06:19:37 pm
Meecha here again!

Ok, like my last post said I took out the visitorenabledmirrorsdresser mod and put in the Inteen version of your mod for pregnancy, but I still didn't get the option to "plan outfit" for my pregnant adult sim. :pale:  I can still only change into maternity.  I don't even have the option to change into everyday now, as somehow I did before...??  My fear is you'll ask me for attachments or screenshots and I'm not certain I'm that adept at all that just yet.  However, if you can think of something that might be causing my problem, that would be greatly appreciated.  I really am interested in using this mod.  As I said before, I have a number of mods (mainly yours) in my game and wish to keep them and have this one if at all possible.  I recently downloaded Sims 2 Clean Installer and did not get a possible conflict error though that doesn't necessarily mean that isn't the case......

Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!
14  Resident Creators / EP3 Mods / Thank you! on: April 26, 2006, 01:36:40 pm
:love1: I just want to say that reading is very fundamental, and it warms my heart to know that other faithful simmers were having problems with this mod, and that help was only a few threads away!

I think I know what my problem is now from reading this thread.  I have the visitorenableddressersmirrors mod that may be causing me to not be able to 'plan outfit' for my pregnant adult sim.  I only had 'change into' option and could not understand what the problem was.  I will be taking this mod out as soon as I get home and reinstalling your version 1.3a_Inteen to see if this was in fact my problem.

I would just like to say that I have a number of your mods in my game (:I have come to be a downloading freak) and I am never disappointed with your genius.  I am TOTALLY ADDICTED to this game and all its expansions and your modifications only make it that much more enjoyable. Thank you so much for your dedication and time!
