I've been looking for black leather gloves as an accessory for adult male Sims.  I would prefer that they be wearable with all clothing categories, but, beggars can't be choosers   If anyone has seen anything even close, even a different color, please let me know.  I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks!

I'm glad I could be helpful somehow (though Mootilda was the one with the problem-solving knowledge).  I'm a complete newb when it comes to modding.  You should have seen my face when the lot first disappeared. I can't find an appropriate emoticon, although WTF followed by Explode is pretty close. Heh.

Can I wake up in my Suikoden custom 'hood?  Then the only problem is deciding which female character to be... but I'm almost sure I'd be Flare (she's in my avatar).  Besides all the woohoo fun, of course, I'd be partying with all my friends at the 80's-themed nightclub that I finally finished building (but I'd make sure I got Uni first so I could make a proper 80's arcade! I only have NL, so that seriously limited my options.)  Flare is lots more social than I am IRL, though, so that'd be challenging, but the other characters are fun to hang out with.  Oh, yes, and no aging, and no getting fat as long as you can be arsed to work out once in a while.

Strange problem... I had been decorating a house I downloaded from MTS2 last night, and I was pretty close to done, when I decided to save.  Then, in the Neighborhood view, the lot detail disappears and is replaced by a reflective rectangle the same size as the lot.  Basically a big, flat mirror.  I went into graphics options and turned off reflections.  No change.  I cannot click on, select, enter, bulldoze, or in any way interact with the lot any longer.  I have no idea what I could have done.  I haven't downloaded any new hacks or mods recently, at least I don't recall doing so.  I have TS2 Deluxe (base game + NL).  Has anyone else ever had this problem?  Any sort of help would be great, because I'm seriously baffled

This thread was still on the first page, so I replied here instead of starting a new topic.

After I've changed a residential lot over to a community lot (and placed the phone booth), what do I do with the mailbox and (residential) trash can?  Can I delete them, or will I bork the lot and/or the game if I do that?

Okay... let me think:

Usually, if I accidentally download anything that isn't NL-compatible, it will make my game crash at loading, so I know that I have to go seek it out and remove it.  I do have the HCDU installed and use it frequently - I ran a scan within the past couple of days, and no issues came up.

I never moved characters from one hood to another.  I had intended to move two to my custom hood, but it was going to be too complicated for me, so I deleted them (caffeinated.joy: I did move them to the family bin first, I don't know how else to delete sims without hacks) and then just recreated the characters in CAS in the custom hood.

Never put an occupied lot in the Lots bin... never used "Delete all characters"... hmm, what else... oh, and it seems to happen on all community lots, but just on dates.

I had some cleaning up to do in my hacks folder anyway, so I decided to run the game after that and see if anything changed. I had the same couple go on a date, and they were still rolling blank wants, but I was able to hover over hers and read what they were.  I could do this with his for a bit, then they went totally blank.  Somehow, I still managed to take him home, Woohoo and score a dream date, though! 

Oh man... I hope it's not the hood, cause this is a custom hood I spent lots of time putting together.  How can Deluxe not be NL compatible if NL is part of the package? EA never ceases to boggle the mind...
Just to point out, this blank wants crap is only happening specifically on dates.  Otherwise it's fine, even on community lots.

Hi, I have TS2 Deluxe (just the base game and Nightlife), and my sims are rolling blank wants on dates.  I don't have the InSimenator or SimPE installed, but I do have several hacks.  The only one that has anything to do with wants is one that decreases the numbers on crazy LTWs like "Have 10 Kids" (I believe this hack comes from MTS2).  So, I am using my own CAS sims, sometimes when they get to the community lot they roll impossible wants (3 out of 4 of my female knowledge sim's were skill points - can't do that on a community lot!  Plus, they both got wants to marry one another - again, I only have Nightlife, can't do that on a comm lot yet!)  Then, when I manage to fulfill something, the wants reroll and most of the slots are blank, thus making it impossible to raise the dream date meter.

Any help would be appreciated, I'm so frustrated
