Hey everyone,
I've been having some strange issues with dating.  My two Sims are CRAZY about each other (I planned it out so they'd have maximum chemistry, heh) but whenever they go on a date downtown, after a few minutes some need desperation bubble flashes over the guy's head and he takes off.  A few notes:  1) I have been playing as the girl when this has happened  2) This has happened multiple times  3) Each time the dates were going well, because they have incredible chemistry and I was satisfying his wants.
I did invite him over one time and made that a date, they woohooed and had tons of fun.  I did get a dream date, but afterward the same thing happened as on the community lot.  It was so weird, getting two messages at once - one that he couldn't wait to see her again, another that he was taking off and didn't she care about his needs?  Geez.  Well, the next morning she got a nice bouquet of roses, so I know where he stood on that.
Sorry that was so long, but it's such a baffling problem I needed to explain it thoroughly.  Thanks!

Edited:  I forgot the most important details... I have only the base game and Nightlife, and I do have hacks/mods installed, but none that involve dating, I don't think.

I did have the beddings subfoldered.  So, just a few minutes ago I took them all out and put them into the main folder.  I loaded my game and went into Buy mode... no change.  Grr. Thank you for your advice, though  The custom beds I have meshes for have no problems with their recolors showing up... it's just the recolors for the Maxis beds.  I have some of Wirelessguy's beddings, some from MTS2, CalalilySims, and Avenida Sims.

I apologize if I'm posting another "ZOMG whar did my downlaods go?!!!!1" topic, but I searched this forum, the one at MTS2, and the FAQs both places, and I haven't been able to figure this out.  I have Sims 2 Deluxe (base game and Nightlife only) and I downloaded several custom bedding files from various sites.  None of them are showing up (they should appear as recolors under the Maxis beds, right?) I definitely have custom content enabled, the files are definitely all unzipped/unrared, duh :wink: (I subfolder almost everything if that's important), and I have CEP installed.  I looked at the files in Delphy's Download Organiser to make sure I was looking in the right place for them (all of them were recolors of the Colonial double bed, so I was).  One funny thing is that ONE custom thumbnail showed up under that bed, but when I clicked on it, the bed appeared with plain white sheets.  Anyway, going by the FAQ on MTS2, I reinstalled CEP.  Still nothing.  All of my other Maxis recolors show up fine ingame.  I'm really baffled... any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I downloaded a few custom careers that came with custom uniforms.  I have sims that I made using Marvine and Beosboxboy's Bodybuilder mesh, and I'd like them to pursue said careers, but the uniforms included are Maxis default-shaped.  It would look kind of weird to have the guys completely change shape whenever they go to work :-P  Is there any way I can make BB outfits into uniforms for those careers, or override the uniforms entirely (without causing a hack disaster)?  Bear in mind, I really don't have any modding skills, so if I have to do advanced modding, I'll just deal with the weirdness.

These are gorgeous!  I'll definitely be using them in the lot I'm working on.  Thank you!
