Yesterday I got kind of inspired. So I decided to post an update, though it won't be the last. I will decide later if this is the second last or last installment.

I took a deep breath.
I reached down, and lifted Apple's fragile little body out the incubator, carefully supporting her head.
I cuddled her to my body, snuggling her in my arms.
There is no love like this.

I brushed Apple's hair back, and touched her cheek.
Her pale pink skin was soft and flawless.
I pulled back from the crib, gazing at her, and her perfect little face.
My little baby Apollonia.

Apple giggled and I couldn't help but join her. Apple cried, and I wanted to cry too. I wished I could spend every hour of my day with her. But college is not a place where you can slack off.
Putting by self through school was hard. Leaving Apple with Sara all day, it was a million times harder.
I plonked down on the couch. I had a hour till class. Apple was not leaving my sight till it was up.

I grabbed my mom in a huge hug, and Sara bent down to kiss Apple.
Sara giggled, and then started to tickle Apple. Apple laughed till she cried, and Sara grabbed her and hugged her tighter than ever.
Sara and I talked about her new job, I told her about my promotion. She was thrilled. And then, I told her my biggest news. I had been waiting months, thinking it over, and thanksgiving seemed to be the perfect time.
"So, whats the big news?" She inquired, after I told her I had a suprise for her.
"I'm adopting a baby boy."
And that was it. One down, two to tell.
