Hmm, so it wouldn't work with Clean Installer either? I don't have Family Fun stuff, but I do have everything else you listed (including Bon Voyage). There's a possibility that there could be an error with BV similar to what happened with Pets. Sadly, EA hasn't created a 2nd patch for BV, although they desperately need one. Sorry if you can't use him.

I created this sim a few months back and I'm ready to share him with everyone since he finally died of old age in my game. *sniff* I'm very proud of him and I hope you all enjoy him as well. Custom Content:[/U] Skintone (not included) - http://louis.new21.net/ (The lightest skintone) Hair (not included) - http://www.raonsims.com/item/detail.php?num=111&cat1=1&page=2&key=Eyes - I'm not sure, but the description says Tyler2009 @ MTS2. If anyone finds the direct link, let me know and I'll edit this. Eyebrows - http://www.modthesims2.com/creator/BarcelonistaBlush - http://www.rensim.com/details.php?file=155Lipstick - http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=223416Full Face Makeup - http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=210114Beard - http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=128009Clothes (not included) - http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=94005-------- Here's how he looks when you install him. He doesn't have the skin, hair or clothes, so it's best to visit the above links for those. As for installing him, I've got all of the EPs, but it should work with any version of the game. If you get an error, just use Clean Installer instead.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Setting simoleon ranges on custom hotels...
|
on: September 10, 2007, 11:37:37 pm
|
I've built my own hotel, changed the zone and everything worked fine. However, I'm a little curious about how to label my Simoleon price range. I think the Prima guide tells, but does anyone here know the price ranges for each level?
For example:
Price Range § (level 1 simoleon) would equal ?? - ?? a night Price Range §§ (level 2 simoleon) would equal ?? - ?? a night
And so on...
Here's what I've done so far: I've built 1 pretty big hotel in Takemizu Village; the suites totalled up to about $1020 each, so I've labeled the price range at a 5 simoleon level.
I checked one of EA's default locations (Takemizu Village Resort) and their suites range to about $800 a night; they're just set to a level 4 simoleon price range.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Angle furniture

I never enter it in caps like that and it works fine... Hmm, maybe it's just different on some computers? I just type it as boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true and it has no problems at all.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Do you still use the InSIMenator at all?
|
on: September 09, 2007, 06:35:34 pm
|
I find myself using InSIMenator quite a lot; it's very handy for lots of things, and I love how it allows you to use facelift options without failure. Plus, the ability to change a sim's type (zombie, vampire, etc.) is really great. So, yeah, I still love InSIM... Now I've just gotta patiently wait for the BV version. lol

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / anyone else NOT having problems?
|
on: September 09, 2007, 04:51:49 pm
|
No major problems on my end either; I removed the "dangerous" hacks that I have and I've been playing virtually mod free at the moment. The only MAJOR issue that I've had is about 1 sim out of 6 that's gone to a beach lot has a permanent sunburn now. Other people have let the Maxoids know on the Official BBS and I've sent a bug report to EA too, so it's not just in my game, thankfully.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / BV doesn't use "Autoplay"?
|
on: September 09, 2007, 06:18:20 am
|
Video card driver... possibly. As for a firewall, I don't have any currently enabled, so I don't think it should be that. Never can tell though. Maybe EA will address it in the patch. Either way, it's no biggie, like I said. The game still works fine and everything... It was just strange.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / BV doesn't use "Autoplay"?
|
on: September 09, 2007, 05:16:02 am
|
When I place my Bon Voyage CD into my DVD-Rom or CD-Rom drives, the Autoplay function won't start and the disk doesn't automatically load up.
I can click on Start/Program Files/EA Games/Bon Voyage and it opens with the Launcher just fine, of course, but I thought it was odd that it won't use Autoplay to start straight up. As a last resort, I even changed the Program Files shortcut to open "Sims2EP6.exe" so it'll bypass the launcher (I don't like the new launcher anyway. lol), but that still didn't make a difference.
My Autoplay still works fine with my other CDs, DVDs and PC games.
Anyone having this issue? It's no biggie... I just thought this was kind of strange. :smt120

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Mementos-- Pls tell me if you can help me fix this problem!
|
on: September 08, 2007, 09:06:09 pm
|
As for Bigfoot, yeah, I had to actually move him in with my family to fulfill that memento... *blah* The best bet for that would be to wait until the InSIMenator is updated for BV; that way, you can move him in, get the memento and then use InSIM remove him from the family (as an NPC?) again. lol I don't know about you guys, but I don't want 50 million Bigfoots rampaging across my neighborhood.

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Hot tub that never ends

If you know about the "boolprop testingcheatsenabled" code, you can also hold shift and click on the stuck sim, select the Force Error option and then choose Reset. Sometime's my sims will get stuck at tables if the dining chairs happen to move wrong; I just reset them like that and they'll pop up beside the table and the problem's fixed. It also comes in handy if a sim's face gets stuck in a perpetual scream or grimace. lol
