well, so far, i havent managed to get a playable withc, but i decided i wanted some homes for them, should i manage to get one.

but its no good slapping a good witch into a home more fitting for a wicked one, so i made three homes for them to choose from.

(ok, im gona warn you now, this lot needs all eps and all but the ikea stuff packs to run. i did not make this with my basegame machine, so there is gona be custom content)

so..
we have the GoodWitch home, the Neutral home and the WickedWitch home.
basically they are identical lots, with some recoloring and tweaking here and there.
the layout is exactly the same in all three, with recolorings here and there for all three.

good and neutral changed only in the fact that i swapped the items round in their recolors.
wicked, however, i changed their windows, added some creapy alien flowers to the garden outside and a sumoning circle thats covered with an awning and has candles.i also changed which curtains i used, which bed and side tables too.

(for the cusom content, its mainly parsimonious.org and you need to get their gypsy stuff from the woodcutters kitchen, the gypsy style build and the pirate bay build set too *for the wickedwitches windows and doors*...also used was parsims apponimous plants colection and thier alien recolor / other plants....some place anywhere candles from Mod the Sims2 as well and some tatty shingles i grabbed from Club Crimsyn * thats http://www.clubcrimsyn.com * which you can find in their sets section that they keep their sets that are also available at TSR)

there is also a pond to fish in and a set of 4 growing patches (with placed sprinkler to save your sims watering)
a couple of benches made from fallen logs to sit and watch the garden and stuff too

the reason the wickedwitches lot has a few more items is that my wicked sims need more clutter and items to remind them they are bad they like to show off that they are leaning to the dark side hehe.

With Appartments just round the corner, i wanted to make a few appartments that you could use in the city or maybe in downtown
(im not sure yet as to whether they are making us use yet another hood, or that we can make appartments anywhere, which i would prefer)

So, my (hopefully) first upload is the Modern City Appartment

With that note out of the way, a little info.

the lot is a shrunken lot, made to look like a row house (that means that there are extra wall parts at the very edge of the lot, so when placed next to other fake row houses / lots, they merge the walls together seamlessly like a proper row of houses. however, each one is actually seperate.

the cost is aprox 221,00 simoleons, but it comes fully furnished in each appartment, the style is black and white modern.
it was created using the base game only, no stuff packs, no custom content whatsoever.
feel free to change the decor if black and white isnt your sims preferances.

*i expect that if they allow us to have appartments anywhere, you will simply need to save the lot after using the re-zoneing cheat to change it from residential to appartment....i left room for the large multi-box postbox that is seen at the front of a house on the official website, and all you then have to do is swap the doors (the black ones only) and replace them with the appartment doors..i think those are the ones with a simlish number plaque on them where the hotel room door plaque is....after that, i think they will be ready to go *

there are 4 appartments per floor, with 2 main floors, one rooftop verandah garden and a recreation room you will probably want to modify (since there is very little stuff available to basegame noCC, but its the only way i can upload a clean lot since the clean-Installer stopped working for me once i installed bon-voyage *sniffle* and i dont think they are updating it.)
each appartment comes with a double bed, and two out of the 8 apprtments have a crib room so you can move in a family.
cooking, relaxing and bathing are all catered for, and there is a downstairs bathroom for the visitors.
the RecRoom up on the top floor has a bar, games setup with large screen TV, a workout area with a hot tub and seperate batroom / showers for male and female.
the rooftop garden has paining and barbeque facilites, along with a couple of trees and some rose bushes and tulips for those with green fingers to look after.
security is provided with a smoke alarm in each appartment and a burglar alarm in the main entrance.

great, so, i found that theres only ONE hotel in Takemisu that has a suit for a family of mom, dad and 2 kids/teens >.<

its the Jade's Villa's, and though its cheap, i wanted somewhere for familys.

so, i sat down, and started to make one. finished it and packaged it (though, i had yet to add the check in booth, but i dont think thats the problem)

closed the game, went to run clean installer....
the package file isnt associated anymore :smt120
clean installer wont find the file ether....:blob6:

infact, if u go to new, and try to overwrite the file, it gave me a page of why i cant do this *swear in machine* and then deleted the file

i mean, i know theres gona be some sneak ins, specialy the most basic door, i got a nasty little thing that keeps sneaking in and poping grungee doors in with the normal ones (its a bayou recol, and it needs a good slapping *sigh) but its usefull for trashed lots

and i wanted to uplode it when i was done, but its 15 and a bit megs befor even ziping >.< and i need to take out the sneaky buggers that try to go in with the file...*sniffle*

ok, so, im at work, and i have a problem....

a customer came in, with his laptop and his copy of the game and he had just been given both family fun and celebration stuff pack....

he has the dreaded magenta flashies walls >.<
now, i suspected, when he mensioned it that it was the graphics drivers, and well, i have the driver updates for all the Nvidia and ATI cards, but.....
not for a crappy little VIA/S3G Unichrome Pro IGP.

he says he has already had to take back his birthday version of Seasons (thankfully, it was still sealed, becasue of the flashies he has been having.)

so....is he as fecked as i think he is?
(probly means no add ons or stuff packs, since i beleave his Sims2 works, but he is wanting stuff and he isnt online.....i will check to see if the magenta flashy walls are in just basegame)

heres sometihng else i found in my uploads floder that i forgot i had ^^
(i made a chunk of them just befor going into hospital for an op and i forgot i had moved them to my online machine hehe)

a small comfortably worn Stilt Cottage.
Standing over its own water-filled pond, this cottage has that slightly lod feel to it.
the pain might be a little worn on the outside, but its clean and fresh inside.
decorated with neutral tones, (thanks to the SimHouse Doc heeh) this smart one to two sim lot will soon fly out of the estate agents doors.

with a large open plan area downstairs and a bedroom and bath upstairs, your sims will perhaps like to keep this as a romantic hideaway.
there is pleanty of room to sit out on the upstairs porch and watch the sunset or telescope the stars.
since the Doc's last visit, we had the pond dredged and the trees trimmed (as per her instructions lol) so this lot is as clean and pleasant as it can get.

*requires basegame/University/nightlife.....may require holiday pack (though no holiday items in building)*

second up tonight is the small round house.....

This smallholding suitable for a family of Freemen or Farmworkers comes with a usefull pond for washing in, and a large spacious Roundhouse with Thatched roof. It has internal walls to seperate the sleeping and eating/ kitchen rooms...
it has ample space for up to 8 serfs (providing they take turns in the beds) with room for an indoor bathroom *gasp*
what a lugsury (sp, sorry) although you still have to use a bucket to fill the bath.
there is a walled in area for the farm animals or for just keeping the few crops you can scrath out of the ground safe from wild animals.
wood and trees on the holding are useable by the tennants with permision to chop, but only branches.

with a pond for washing your clothes in and especialy usefull outdoor bath area that is even *gasp* COVERED.....
fenced in section that is perfect for a couple of piggies or even a small lame cow, this home has everything you could want...if you were a indentured servant or Serf, that is.

(furnished version.....you should pop to mod the sims to and grab some wonderfull items from the Midsumer nights dream Themed section list....
however i have lists of the individual items....

Cloudy Rise Cemetery....

For those that know a Sim needs someplace Comfortable to rest in their afterlife, not just for themselves, but for the sims they love....
This comforatable little Cemetery is small enough to fit into even the most crowded Downtown 'hood or rest serenely in the open spaces of the 'Burbs.

With a rooftop garden, coffeshop and Viewing Rooms (and with OfB installed, you can add the vampire coffins to the viewing rooms now ^^) along with a Urn Chamber with comfortable lined and curtained Alcoves, Your Loved Ones will rest Peacefully.

((i made this lot befor OfB and FFp, there is no custom content at all, since it was made on a completely clean install with no access to internet, on a seperate hdd to my normal game, since i could not at that time get clean installer to work....may only be useable on machines with XP, sorry))
