1  A Safe Haven / General Discussion / Foopets on: April 02, 2009, 05:55:33 am
hi!

I found a great website with virtual animals (most of you may already know this but I just wanted to share it with you) It's dogs and cat that are "alive" and need to be fed and have attention on a daily basis.. I'm sure I qualify as an addict soon.. They also release a new pet just about every week!

To mention some breeds they have: siberian husky, yorkshire terrier, australien shepherd, german shepherd, chihuahua, west highland terrier and etc etc..

This is some of the animals they have for adoption click on the picture or follow the link...

4  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / gaps in custom meshes on: November 09, 2008, 08:37:08 am
Hi!

I was wondering if anyone has a solution to a problem I have.. Some custom meshes I have downloaded have gaps and wholes in them when a sim uses the outfit.. It varies on the body when the sim walks, stands, sit or generally move its body.. This is very annoying and I hope someone can help me fix it, as I I really don't want to delete these meshes...

Hi Folks!
It's been a while but I'm back with yet another Bear BB creation! I've done a recolour of the casual/formal shirt with 3/4 sleeve and put on a pair of jeans... It kinda looks cowboy inspired... Shows up in casual and formal category.

Hope you like it! And don't forget the mesh by montoto_sk found here: http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=85509

6  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Please help! The command line won't show on: August 31, 2008, 05:06:28 pm
I've just bought myself a laptop and was looking forward to play the sims2 on this. But I've encountered a problem... My game loads and I can play as normal up tp one point: When I try to type the CTRL+SHIFT+C the command line (cheat box) doesn't appear at all.... That means I can't use cheat codes for family or building and it takes alot of the fun away in the game... (I build a lot of houses)

I've installed following packages:

Base game
Nightlife
Pets
Freetime
Apartment Life
All Stuff Packs

I also have Bon Voyage and University but haven't installed them yet...
Hope someone please can help me... The operative system on my comouter is Vista......
7  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Men / *New* Bear Bodybuilder Everyday on: August 25, 2008, 12:37:10 pm
Hello!

I was playing around with the firefighter mesh and got the idea of trying to create a new everyday outfit for our Bears! It's simple basic needs with a modern look.

I've made the suspenders invisible so it looks more casual.. And I'm quite happy with the way it turned out! This way the bears can have a few more choices in their warderobe. Let me know what you think!

Of course this do need the firefighter uniform to show up in your game, download these two called

Here's the link: http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=89772

Hope you are enjoying the bears as much as I do! HUGE THANKS to montoto_sk and marvine for this mesh!
8  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Men / *New* Bear Bodybuilder Casual on: August 24, 2008, 05:26:34 pm
Hi!

I was peeking around a the forum the other day and found this great new bodyshape by montoto_sk and Marvine. I couldn't resist downloading whatever I could find at the moment so I started creating my own BEAR in my game. Being somewhat interested in clothes I decided that my Bear needed some more clothes so I created a new outfit for the guy. It's found in casual and formal (just to give a few more options). It's a rather simple, but masculine style white a stripet shirt and some casual jeans... But enough chatter by me, see for yourself!

If you don't already have this gorgeous shape in your game, the mesh can be found here: http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=85509

Hope you like it and enjoy!
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Help with Disfigured meshes on: August 23, 2008, 10:58:16 am
Hi!

A friend of mine asked me today what she could do to make here meshes return to the way they were. The have all become disfigured and twisted. I personally don't know what to do about it. She has created some meshes and stuff with Milkshape and Simpe but I don't see how that should affect all the meshes.. So before she reinstall the game and starts over is there something that can be done to fix this?

Below is a picture of what I mean.

10  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Dogs / My Japanese Spitz on: August 20, 2008, 11:20:56 am
one small request: Please do NOT upload to the exchange or any paysites, or claim my work as your own... Thank you! :daisy:

Hi!

A while back ago when my little Japanese Spitz was a puppy I decided to sim him in my game, but as he grew I had to change him but finally it looks pretty close to my real life pup!

Hope you like this smart and loving dog in your game!

About this breed: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Spitz )

Japanese Spitz

Name:                    Japanese Spitz
Other names:        Nihon Supittsu
Country of origin:    Japan

The Japanese Spitz is a completely white breed of dog that is thought to have been bred from the White German Spitz in the late 19th century in Japan. The Japanese Spitz is similar to the American Eskimo Dog, Samoyed, and German Spitz in size, overall appearance, and temperament.

History

In the late 19th century, Japanese dog breeders cross-bred various dog breeds for a small dog breed with a pure white coat. These breeds include the White German Spitz, Siberian Samoyed, Russian Spitz, and American Eskimo. It was believed that these various dog breeds from different countries were introduced to Japan through Siberia and Manchuria. The end result was the Japanese Spitz. But due to the destruction of records during World War II, this is still unclear. The breed was first exhibited in a dog show in Tokyo in 1921. Subsequently, a unified breed standard was established by the Japan Kennel Club in 1948. It gained much popularity in Japan in the 1950s, and was introduced to Europe and North America around the same period of time.
11  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / New bodyshape in poser, how to extract it in to the game? on: August 11, 2008, 04:09:32 pm
Hi!

I've started to try to make my first bodyshape, the plan was to use Warlokk's magnets but every time I tried to open them in poser they got invisible... (I've extrcted them into poser in magnets) So when I didn't get that to work I tried to do a shape on my own.. It's not finished yet, but I think it's a good base...

I'm hoping someone can tell me how I'll get it in-game and how to make custom meshes for this shape? But first of all how to get the shape to appear in the sims 2.. Would like some feedback on the shape, how to make it better and so on.. My goal is to try to make my own realistic shape with some round curves..

Hope someone will answer

I'm creating a website and want to have lots of diversity in sims bodyshapes but sometimes it's just getting to much to keep track on.. So I want to ask you guys what bodyshapes would you prefer to find clothes for on a website?

The poll gives a list of shapes we are considering, but unfortunatly we can not have all as that would be way to time consuming for us...

Feel free to give other suggestion to bodyshapes with a good variety of meshes that can be recoloured. We do appreciate if you take time to answer on this so we can have the most populare and best of sims bodyshapes for you at the future website!
