34  A Safe Haven / Quizzes / Re: What Color Car Should You Drive? on: June 25, 2009, 06:13:34 pm
You Should Drive a Red Car

You're the type of driver who isn't afraid to be the fastest on the road.
You have a lot of energy built up, and you tend to get your adrenaline fix from driving.
Moving at hyper speed, you tend to be annoyed with slow drivers and slow people.
Life's too short to be slowed down by someone else!

...and to think i'm a courier, bad combination

36  A Safe Haven / Quizzes / Re: What Kind of Pancakes Are You? on: June 24, 2009, 12:57:02 pm
You Are Chocolate Chip Pancakes

You prefer sweet and rich foods.
You shy away from anything that's overly bland or unnaturally fat free.

It's not likely that someone would find low fat cheese or sugar free cookies in your kitchen.
Instead, someone might find a pan of brownies baking in the oven or warm popcorn covered in real butter.

Your Attention Span is Long

You're attention span is amazingly long.
You can concentrate well, and your mind doesn't stray easily.
Even if you have a mundane task to complete, you can get it done easily.

Because you don't get distracted, you accomplish more than most people.
Your self discipline is your greatest strength.
You can will yourself to do almost anything. All you have to do is put your mind to it.

just curious, the 6-pak beer, is it in the fridge (grab a beer/ 6-pak) ? i've been a little gun-shy of using the 6-pak option after one of my sims came home, grabbed a beer out of the fridge and proceded to beat up his wife. after that i dressed him up in a white tank top.
39  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Sims won't eat on Comm. lots on: June 19, 2009, 05:02:48 pm
this sounds basic i know but it goes with the t.v. repair man asking if it is pluged in...

did you click on the waiter/waitress and 'order for...' ?
otherwise it could be some interaction mods causing conflict (i had npc s arrive on lots and just stand around for awhile) if so and this is a new problem copy your last game mods you put in, to your desktop, reload the game and see if that works

41  Resident Creators / Mod Requests / request; floor assignments on: June 03, 2009, 06:01:58 pm
I know I have posted in wcif section about this. I have left it for a few days but there has been no response. So i guess it dosen't exist. my request is, assignable floor areas for sales floors. A la 'are you being served'.  Having multiple sales associates 'ganging up' on one customer is a pain. Could you make a hack/mod that allows you to assign clothing racks, display shelves or even floor space to certain employees. People running mall type businesses would probably find this very useful as well. This will be probably needed only on owned business lots comunity or home based. I have all expantion packs, glamour life and teen style stuff packs, but it probably only has to work with open for business.  If you could do this that would be great, if not I'll go back to yelling at my employees. Thanks
42  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / wcif? assignable floor for sales on: May 31, 2009, 10:22:23 pm
One thing that annoys me about sales interactions on owned comunity lots is when you have multiple employees selling items. They always seem to stack up in behind the same customer! I'm looking for an item hack or mod that allows you to set floor space for them to 'work'. e.g. employee x gets clothing racks 1,2,3 and employee y gets clothing racks 4,5,6 etc. Does such a thing exist? thanks in advance.
43  Simmers' Paradise / Apartment Life Help / Re: Bodyshop keeps crashing! on: May 21, 2009, 06:35:48 pm
Is bodyshop crashing or taking forever to load? If you have an obsene amount of CC it does take quite a while to load. I tend to start it up and go for a shower to kill time while it loads. so while it may seem like it crashed (three finger salute says 'not responding') just be patient it takes a while.

I'm a bit TOO appriensive about sims3 to buy it on it's release date (got too much money and CC in sims2). But i'm sure that you will let us all know what it's really like, right?   Undecided  I for one would be interested in reports from actual comunity gamers like yourselves!
