okay, here's my little rant/sob story of the day for you all.
i was trying to install university when it told me it didn't have the required resource to run. so i uninstalled uni and went back to playing my base game, which told me that i needed 1 MB of disk space to play! so, i spent about 3 hours going through my folders on my computer and deleting all the unnecessary files on there. it still showed the error message. so i had to DELETE ALL MY CUSTOM CONTENT. oh, yes. every bit and piece that i have acquired is now gone!
but my game works.

Simmers' Paradise / Mac-Users Only Peer Support / Help! Trouble starting Uni...

Hi all,
I posted this on the regular help only to realize there was a seperate place to post for all us Mac users!
So here's my query:
I just installed Uni on my iMac, and I went to play, and it said "A required resource was not found. Please re-install the Sims 2." So I re-installed Uni, and I got the message again.
I'm really hoping I don't have to re-install the base game, because I'd hate to lose my current families!
What do I do? Should I try re-starting my computer?
Please help!
Thanks,
Rachel
