I recently installed my game on my new computer, and previously, had not played it for a while on my old computer. However, when I reinstalled on this one and went to play, I noticed the water in the neighborhood looked like this:


(minus the dark color. I added a water mod to see if it would help fix the problem, but to no avail.) I know it's not the graphics card on this computer. As I said, it's rather new and built specifically for games like Sims (as I have both 2 and 3 on here). When this problem occurred, I hadn't added any new mods, so that couldn't be the problem.

And as I said, it only happened when I moved over to this computer. I reinstalled Sims 2 completely, but I did take my whole documents folder straight from the other one and placed it over the new one the game created here. Could that be the problem even if it worked on the old computer? Thanks for the help anyone that can solve this problem.

Oh, and the ponds work just fine.... So I'm completely stumped.

If you, like you Sim could, plant a meat plant and eat something from it, would you consider it vegetarian or not? I was discussing this with my mother earlier and it was an odd thought question that came up. Opinions? 

I am, to say in short, a Zelda addict. I love it so much and my Sims 3 game just does not feel complete without dear Link running around, totally out of the time period. I do have Navi and know where to find the sword and *a* shield (unfortunately not the Hyrule shield, but I'll keep things simple unless someone wants to do that too   ), but all that's missing is his clothes (Twilight Princess style, please. Second and third pics. First is more to show detail).




If anyone could be amazing enough to make this guy's clothes for me, I'd be ecstatic. (I'll supply the Sim, even. Maybe upload him if he's good enough with full credit to the outfit creator, obviously.) So, in conclusion, thank you to anyone who takes on this challenge for me. Tell me if you need more or better pictures. I'll be happy to supply them. My game is just not complete without this guy. Thank you all. ~Zammy

Edit: MTS has the pants and boots now thanks to the medieval challenge. ( http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=398373 ) I'd love the tunic now, with the appropriate straps and whatnot to hold the sheathed sword. If anyone would want to do that separately (the belts and buckles, I can't think of the word for it) as an accessory, I could use what there is on that post. Okay, here's the thing: My boyfriend's birthday is coming up, and I wanted to get him candy because, hey, who doesn't like candy? But I don't want to just give it to him (seeing as the only other thing I'm doing is singing him a bunch of songs he requested and some he didn't because he likes my singing) so I was planning on making him do a picture with the candy (like a tanagram puzzle). And I don't know how much to buy with my limited 16-year-old-no-job-lazy-butt monetary status XD

Okay, so my question to all you amazing people here at Insim is: If any of you have any of the following candy just laying around, would you measure it (length and width at largest part only is needed)? I had the eyes from this sim in my TS2 game and I used them a lot. I'd love to have them in TS3 and, I know the correct procedure is to PM the original creator, but she hasn't logged into MTS in a while (her downloads are now considered unsupported). She also never released the eyes on their own, but only with the Sim. If this is alright to do, then I'd love if someone would make these eyes for me, as contacts, preferably. If it's not do-able, then that's completely fine.


If better pictures are needed, I'll grab them from my game. Like I said, if it's against the rules to do this, then it's completely fine, I just figured I'd ask. Thanks anyone who responds =)

If anyone could make a wall cover like that puzzle piece floor in the game, that would be great! Just that would be amazing

However, this is all based on a dream, the way I want this to look, so if anyone could do as I describe here, they are even more amazing than previously stated. Anyway, In my dream, there were colors like that on the wall: black, silver, and white. It was also slightly reflect-y, like those reflection walls from TS2. And there were three pieces rather than the four that were on the floor pattern. Thank you to anyone who helps with this. You are great!

Something like that one that came with the game. I'd like a shirt like that for my female Sim, PREFERABLY teen through adult or elder, but young adult and adult are just fine too. And I'd like it long enough so that the stomach isn't showing because that is a major annoyance to me.... Thanks to anyone that can help.

Probably an incredibly stupid question, but is it necessary to keep the project files saved? I know the 'saved sims' files need to be there, but the ones I've created myself in Bodyshop that do nothing but reside in the folder using up space, do I need those? Thanks

I've looked here and on MTS2 and haven't found anything I've liked, and I haven't found really anything period on any other sites. I'm not too picky with colors or shoes, though I do prefer the colors to be the typical black, blue, gray, or white of jeans and not the bright colors. I went through and did 1-3, so I don't know if that's the problem....otherwise, if it's just the disc, then I say that EA hates me, but that's not a story to get into now ^_^

Hey there, today I bring you a set of 8, count 'em 8, shirts that say "I love Earth". Well, techinically, 5 say "I love animals" the other 3 say "I love the Earth".


Anyway, these are all untuckable (and unintentionally so, might I add) so they'll look great with the untuckable stuff BUT if you don't want to/can't/whatever download the untuckable jeans and shirt mesh, these look great tucked in with no letter chopping offs.

I've had 3 different discs of AL and each time I go to install it, the autoinstall doesnt even come up and when I check the drives and everything in my computer, it says thateres nothing there. So, anyone know what it could be?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not one to wear dresses for formal events unless I'm forced to. So, I made a couple formal outfits here for you sim teens that don't like dresses either.



One is a dress, but it is quite a bit shorter than the long dresses that came with Inteen. These outfits are catagorized as formal and everyday. Just extract and put in your downloads folder. I use the Insim wardrobe adjuster to get these as my formal outfits. You'll need Kalynn's pants and tunic mesh which can be found in the credits.

Please don't be too harsh as these are my first uploads here, but advice would be great.  I made these with just plain old bodyshop and MS Paint and the ever-wonderful google images. I apologise if the pictures are fuzzy. They weren't when I took them and I didn't resize them at all. Hope you and your sims enjoy.

I'm working on my first sim item right now. I have made clothes in the past, but they were only recolors. I have done nothing with my meshing program, Wings3D, in the form of creating for Sims. I do know my way around it, basically, but after I create the item, I have no idea what to do with it.

First off, I want to create a cane to finalize a House MD sim. Firstly, I want to know how to curve the handle a little better to make it look more like House's cane and I can't figure out how to do that. I made this by creating a torus and scaling a part of that down.

Secondly, I need to know how to get it into Gimp to color it.

Thirdly I need to know how to put it into sims and make it so it can actually be used as an accessory. I do not know how to use SimPE, just saying. I haven't had any experiance with that at all, but I do have it. Anyone that can explain all this to me, :worship: i worship. Thanks! ~~zammy
