Have you a lot of houses and Sims in your custom hood ? It's maybe the addition of the hood plus the sub areas who create the problem. Yep maybe a memory lack, I'm not technician sorry.:roll:
Try to use a Maxis base hood plus downtown and other areas to see if it's functionning. Even if you don't like them, just to see. You can delete them later.

Do you have add something in the game ? It's since the neighborhood reinstallation ? I hope it's not somehow corrupted. :roll:

Even if you use downloaded Sims you can still create a family for them. Juste choose the Sim you want in the Sim box (? "Boîte à Sims" in French).

I fear the problem came from the "graphic card", VIA/S3G unichrome. Forums says that it's not a real card and it's not good to play games especially 3D ones. If you can, try to change it. Your computer is a notebook no ? I can't recommend a special card sorry.

No the family creation is too "straight". :roll: But you can use the Insimenator to change things just after the family is in its house. Make one or two parent(s) with two childs (a teen and a child). Install the family. Use the temporal adjustor to transform the adult(s) in elder(s) or kill them. Age the teen in adult and the child in teen and play.

Oh ok then. Use a tool to sort files and to isolate mesh files (Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer or Delphy Downloads Organiser, see on MTS2). After the bodyshop loading will be faster.
