Yes moving the Downloads folder can help but for the CC enabler, after say yes to allow it, go to the options and save you don't want the window come again. Go out and reload the game, in principe the CC is loaded this time.
No I have never see such disappearance. :roll: Have you try to use the "restore family" option of the Insimenator ? You can too try to move the family. But I don't see more sorry.
A Bon Voyage effect ? It's strange. You have maybe download one other file who conflicts. But arf, it's the first time I see that. Try to play without your downloads to be sure there isn't a problem from them.
Do you have the launcher when you click on the icon ? If the "play" button don't react you can maybe delete the cache files in My documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 (accessory and groups cache). It can help.
It was not Bon Voyage or Free Time but before, a desperately waited EP... Maybe Seasons. Have you been on the Blarney Stone to download a new accessory mesh ?
Um I have had this problem suddenly after one EP installation. Try maybe to download a new version of the Dr Pixel mesh (I don't know its name it's the basic mesh for jewelry).

Are you sure to have totally cleaned your Downloads folder ? It seem to have one (are more) incompatible file somewhere. Try to scan your downloads with the Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer and remove all red files (who are hacks).
This is strange. :roll: It's come just after the hail storm ? Have you had another hail storm in this house before ? Bon Voyage bring its beaches but it's not vary older lots. I don't see the point. :? And you have had this flood before Bon Voyage and Free Time installation no ? A lot of questions, sorry to cannot give you more help.
Erf a strange glitch. Do you playing with Bon Voyage ? Vista need better resources and it's maybe a problem with the graphic card who is not on the read me from Bon Voyage.
