Newme2day you can try to use the Insimenator to active the buy / build mode and to change the stairs. It would be a pity to make the sims dead and besides it wouln't settle the problem.
Have you a lot of bodyshop custom content ? And what is your RAM ? I have had this problem on my old computer with 256 Mb of RAM... :roll: Try to play without it to see if it's better and after add only your favourite stuff.
The game freeze during loading with a sound glitch ? And you try to load it without custom content ? It's strange. :roll: Sorry but have you been able to play the game before ?
Have you try to detect a potential conflict with the Paladin detection tool ? Try too to play without any download to be sure that a custom content is involved.
You can try to move your Downloads folder out of the Sims 2 folder, then load the game, quit, move again the folder and with chance the custom content will be there.
Which phone ? A phone in bedroom (in vacation hotel) haven't any transportation option. But a cell phone have still the options to take a taxi or a transport. And if you click on the blue phone at the street you can walk elsewhere (idem if you click on the sim). Arf theoretically and if you haven't any incompatible hack or mod of course.
For the pause when access of the clothing rack it can be only the time to load the clothing. Sometimes (with a limited RAM and a lot of clothes ) it can be long.
But for the shadow of clothes ? I don't know... maybe a lack of textures ?
The icon season on the community lot is in summer ? It's strange because if you go there in summer theorically the game actualize the lot. :roll: Do you have any hack who can maybe conflict ?
