 right followed the download instructions in the all4sims forum as suggested by DKK - tried to open the game and it was ok till the blue opening screen then the game crashed - screen just went black ?

 am I doing something wrong ?

  am now backing everything up before I try again just in case

  I uninstalled clean pack installer and downloaded the house again but it still does not appear in my game ?

 have got loads of your beautiful creations and never had a problem before so will check help link and let you know how I get on !

No I kept the contents of everything definately
