Okay, when I try to create a family it says "application has crashed" and the program closes. I used the hack conflict detector (none are conflicting) and even deleted a few hacks that I recently got that I figured might be doing it, but it's still not working.
 
Anyone have any ideas?

Poor Alec is far too kind to get much nourishment from things other than macaroni and cheese. He's too busy saving young maidens from less scrupulous vampires (and then forgetting to ask the girls if they would like to donate blood for his cause... aka his tummy), and boring potential meal-providers to death with his life story while making them a sandwich when he invites them to his lair. Okay, from some of my posts you guys have probably thought that I really, really hate a certain townie by the name of Goopy Gilscarbo. Well, you were right. But thanks to the insimenator (and the selector that comes with it...), I was able to, er, persuade him to have a look in the mirror and change his looks a little. I didn't do any plastic surgery (yet), but, um, have a look:
 

 
Still pretty icky! But if I find him some new clothes he'll look like an uglier version of Marilyn Manson I guess.
Seriously, I have never known a nose like that to exist in the human race, and I have seen some pretty prominent proboscises.
 
But I thought it would be fun to see what you guys have done with or to him... Whether you make him look better, or put him in a swimming pool and take the ladder out. :-P

Hello, today I'm uploading one of my favorite sims, who is different because of her petite black wings. I was going to make a story/video involving her but I don't have the patience. Anyhow, in the story she was an angel who got caught dealing with the dark side and was fired, lol. So she is bitter. And has some scars on her face from the hard life she's lived ever since. She also has a tattoo to remind her of the days when she could fly freely and proudly.
    I will perhaps upload her boyfriend sometime later. Enjoy!

what would you want it to be like?
me, i would want The Sims 2: Apocalypse where you could make special neighborhoods where sims society started from scratch and the way you shaped their society as it molded would control their behaviors and stuff as a whole later on. for example, if you coddled sims that had an art/creating aspiration (there would have to be special aspirations in these neighborhoods, like agriculture, healing, philosophy/religion, etc.) the society might become more artistic. and you could only build buildings that were fancier when your sims had fancier constructing skills/knowledge skills. and they could have religion, or, rather, simligions.
of course, i would still want my old normal game-play neighborhoods too.
 
how about you? what would you want?

hello again. i just want to know (i know this will be a really simple one to fix) how i can run the sims 2 in windowed mode so i can, say, take pictures in game, then be able to go to my documents and look at them and upload them to photobucket without exiting the game. or so i can surf the net while playing sims.

They aren't the most divinely gorgeous things on Earth, but I rather like them, and I put them on my own sims, so they can't be all that bad (since I delete anything in my game I feel is too crappy to use), right?
 
Anyhow, try them out and tell me what you think. And tell me if they suck, too. Well, let me clarify that. Tell me if they suck, but tell me what sucked about them so I can make something better next time. :smile:
 
These are the first clothing item I've ever uploaded anywhere. I have some undies I made too that I really, really like and plan on uploading eventually if people like these okay.

This is the first time I've ever uploaded an actual couple. And this time I have provided a story to spark your imaginations as to what to do with them as well... Tee hee...
 
Francine and Frank Stein were a happy couple, very much in love, until one tragic evening in which Frank got run down by a car.
Francine couldn't let her husband die, so she tapped into her skills, her secret skills that she allowed no one to speak of. Skills she couldn't bring herself to share with her husband.
In her basement, she brought him back to life with the electricity that burned in the stormy skies. She stitched up all his wounds with stitches too tiny to be seen.
But now that she has brought her love back to existence, she is ashamed of the grisly thing she has done, and cannot bring herself to even kiss her husband, or to love him again.
Frank, however, loves her with a passion that grows even higher every day. He loves that she saved him. He loved the sight of her bent over him cleaning his body as his eyes fluttered open and shut in his last stages of life. He loves how she saved him from a most undignified death. He loves how brilliant she is, to have been able to control the very essence of life itself. But his heart is sad that Francine will have nothing to do with him now that he bears the scars of his encounter with death.
Will Francine realize how much Frank loves her for who she really is, and look beyond the bad event to see a beautiful future for them both? Or will Francine embark on a frightening journey to undo the miracle she caused to commence?

i haven't really put her in a house yet... i finally did build a really artistic house with a big lake to suit her (not the one in the pictures though). i've been calling her Vicki but even that doesn't suit her. perhaps you will all think of better names for her. something irish, perhaps? i made her because i noticed all the lovely ladies in my neighborhood were such typical bombshells, tee hee. only, like, gothic bombshells. i was having a shortage of tomboys and lolitas, so, somehow, voila! i kind of combined the two. which shouldn't really make sense, but this sim is very pretty to me. i think she's one of my more realistic ones. :happy8: lol.

Okay, so my Sims 2 game (I have sims 2 deluxe, celebration stuff, and seasons expansion kits) loads fine, loads the neighborhoods fine, loads everything fine except for when i click on any given family to try to play with them. it just randomly started doing this and i deleted a whole bunch of hacks but it's still not working. i don't understand it at all. it just, like, tries to load the family but just stays on the same loading screen forever.
