Now whenever I load a neighborhood it flashes red! I'm so upset right now I can just cry. I don't want to reinstall my game, and I can't, because i don't have my cds. HELP ME PLEASE! (It's not my computer or anything, it happened out of the blue.)

I was wondering how I could get Pleasantview and Strangetown back? They just disapeared and I'd like them back, please!

EDIT: Problem fixed, but I lost all of my custom neighborhoods that I've spent months and years on. It's all gone, and I can't get it back.

My two regular pretty human sims had a baby, and as a BABY it looked like how the aliens do, with tiny tight lips and huge eyes!

It's been happening to me lately, and when they grow up they look fine and human and everything. I'd rather not have ugly babies like that. Anyone have suggestions?

I just finished playing with the family for now and she grew up and is adorable and looks just like her mum. Why the heck is she so fugly as a baby?

ERGGG! This morning when I turned on my computer and got on the internet for 10 minutes, then I clicked on Sims 2. It wouldn't work! I waited for 10 minutes after clicking play, and nothing.

I tried again, nothing. I took the cd out and cleaned it, nothing.

I also tried restarting the computer and clicking play, but it still doesn't work. HELP ME!!!!!!!

I was wondering, that if every time I kill a townie, if a new one will generate with my new default replacements?

And if I make a townie and add it to the townies, will it replace a townie that was already put there by Maxis?

I remember this happening to me before, whenever I click on the phone in the buy catalog or click on it in the household an error comes up called, Phone- Line Controller.

It annoys the heck outta me and I'm not sure what to do, when I reset it it comes back, and deleting it does nothing. Please help!!

What was it like? were you confused, doing it with a friend, already knew what it was about, etc?

Mine was when I was with my friend Taylor a couple of years ago, and we were cooky girls, and she turned it on and we made our self sims (only maxis content.) and a really ugly father with make-up on. We killed him off, and them played, and it seemed so different than how I see it now. The dating thing was hilarious, and I laughed my butt off whenever he brought the flaming bag of dog poo. Whenever we did that date thing, Taylor's self sim got a hot date, and mine got an ugly one, really really fugly.  I felt bad for the fugly simmie, so my self sim dated him anyways. Our self sims were teens, so no babies anyways, and we didn't play long enough for them to age, anyways. We got all pissed at each other after a while of debating whose turn it was, it was so freaking fun and I never realized that it existed. So we brought out a timer and played for like 5 minutes each, and it killed me, so we just went to bed. Lol.
Oh, and you know how a few years ago when you made self sims that you just wanted it to be pretty and you didn't care if it didn't look like you? That's what we did. We made what we'd love to look like, but kept our skin/eye/hair color.

How do you play your Sims 2 game? Like, do you cheat and age the kids up, send them to college, and then move them into their own houses, or don't cheat, or do you move grandma and grandpa in with their kids after they are grown?

I play regularly when it comes to age, but I cheat at their motives, and sometimes moneyz and I cheat at partners, jobs, boolprop, ETC. But I never age up my sims unless I'm playing on a test hood. But, I ALWAYS use maxmotives.

And, after all of the kids graduate, I pick a heir like they do in legacies, and move them in with their parents. If I don't move at least one of the kids in with their parents, then I'll abandon the parents and never play with them. All of the other kids not chosen, well sometimes I still play with them in their own house. That's why usually my sims only have about 2 kids. No more than 3, unless none of the kids will have their own children!

Well, I know that the game can't ever really, like, read what you type in for the novels, but this had me cracking up!

My romance sim wrote a novel in his free time, and it went like this.

I have a question about taking pictures. I would like to know how I can zoom down closer to the floor, to catch cute moments, like toddlers playing with bears and coloring at that Freetime station, and playing on those llama thingies from AL.

I think I know that you need to get a camera mod or something, but I'm not sure how to use 'em, no matter how many times I read the instructions. Could someone point out a good camera mod thingy or something like that that I could use, and tell me how to zoom in real close?

I was wondering, when a sim bebe is born, are their looks chosen right then, or does it choose what they'll look like right when they age into a toddler?

Like, right before they age, it scrambles the genes and then chooses what they'll look like, or does it do that right when theyre born?

So, I just fixed my old problem, and a new one came! Of FREAKING course! Lol.

So, the people living in the apartments around my simmies, well, they don't go in their apartments. They just hang out outside until they pee theirselves and pass out on the floor outside. I'm thinking it's because of some Apartment Generator Neighbor thing I had to delete because an error came up. Well, this isn't much of a big problem, but I'm sick of the neighbors peeing and passing out in the yard. LOL!!
Also, is it normal for the Apartment mailbox to be a regular mailbox, or will that conflict with anything?

So, whenever I click on Play, in a few seconds a tiny window comes up with a big red X. I'm mostly heartbroken because I JUST redownloaded everything recently. I haven't downloaded any hacks, so that can't be it. I restarted and cleaned the disk, didn't help.

I am soooo upset, I REALLY want to play with my simmies and I haven't been able to actually play in a long long time.

There's no way I'm downloading everything all over again!!!!!!
