Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Country Living, Starter Series - Part One

oh nice, comicalmuse, very nice :eh:  this does look great though, I use a lot of starter homes so will definitely be adding this to my collection *wonders if it comes with a ghost* LOL thankies  Ghost free, I guarantee! Although, I can't guarantee that I got rid of all the old-person stench. Febreze can only do so much. Hah! And, more starters are in production. First, there's this pesky business of bribing the city council to overlook any building-code violations. *chuckles*

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Country Living, Starter Series - Part One

Another country home, and this time around a starter home. It's patterned after my second country home in the series, found here. Perfect for a small family (2-3 sims), it comes fully furnished with all the essentials, and then some, and is priced at a mere $19,837 simoleans. Behold the power of - no, not cheese - item depreciation! Hah. (The sim living here previously lived a full and happy life, dying of natural causes. I took the liberty of removing her corpse and spraying the place down with Febreze shortly before packaging the lot. Hah) I have a couple more country-themed starters in the works as well. If anyone else is interested in seeing more, let me know and I'll upload them. FeaturesRequires Uni, NL, and OFB 2x2 lot, Hack free Price: $19,837 - Fully furnished 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms 1 car driveway (Truck in picture not included) Custom Content Included - Invisible Driveway and Extensions, by roddyaleixo - Siding, porch tile, and wooden fence by Nengi65 at MTS2 - Oldwood Lattice in White by Loverat at MTS2 - Wooden Stairs *recolorable* by Numenor at MTS2 - White Stair recolor by Numenor at MTS2 Let me know if I missed anything, and enjoy!

Back yet again with another country-style house for your simmies. Another good one for a medium-sized family looking to escape the drab horrors of suburbia.
First time I ever followed a housing plan mostly to the letter, and it'll be the last time I do so as well. Talk about a dull-looking interior heh. Ah well.
Some notes: The master bedroom on the first floor can be converted into a family room, media room, or what have you, if you wish. If you want bigger bedrooms on the second floor, knock down a few walls. This house is fairly configureable when it comes to the interior. It's also unfurnished since I couldn't decide on a design scheme to use.
Features Requires Uni, NL, and OFB 3x3 lot, Hack free Price: $54,418 - Unfurnished except for basic appliances and fixtures 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms 3 car driveway
Custom Content Included - Invisible Driveway and Extensions, by roddyaleixo - Siding, porch tile, wooden column recolor, and wooden fence by Nengi65 at MTS2 - Oldwood Lattice in White by Loverat at MTS2 - Wooden Stairs *recolorable* by Numenor at MTS2 - White wooden stair recolor by Numenor at MTS2
If I forgot to include anything, let me know. Do enjoy!

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Suburban Family Home

Here's another house fit for a large family. It was also a bit of an experiment for me as well, as this time around I was fiddling with sideways driveways/garages. That said, this lot is perfect for a corner; as the driveway juts out to meet the road alongside the left end of the house.
Also note that the driveways are fully functional, but consist of only extension pieces. So when your sims get in their cars, they'll just automagically vanish off the lot - and reappear in the same fashion.
(I should also note the exterior - in my opinion - is a bit ugly in the front and alongside the right end of the house. Couldn't decide what to do with it though.)
Features Requires Uni, Nightlife, and OFB 3x3 lot, Hack free, Fully Furnished Price: $132,713 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Bathrooms No basement this time There's also a minivan parked in the garage
Custom Content Included - Large Maple, by Grapholina.com - Maxis "Monolith" Topiary, lost by Maxis; found by Numenor at MTS2
You know the drill: No Exchange, and if I'm missing anything let me know. Enjoy!

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / First Upload - Cozy Victorian-esque (Uni, NL, OFB)

Well, thanks for the words of praise, eveyone. Wasn't too sure how this one would go over. Now I'm glad I did submit it!
Three fatalities later (first the fire, then a Sim with a disease, then a wayward satellite), this house has turned into a godsend for one of my knowledge Sims. She likes parking herself on the back porch at night to watch the ghosts wandering about. Hah.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Country-Style (Sort of) Family Home
|
on: September 13, 2006, 11:07:51 pm
|
Are your Simmies looking to start a large family? Already have a house full of rugrats and looking for something roomier? Then here's a good house for just those purposes.
What started life as a rustic farmstead turned into a country-style (sort of) suburban house, large enough to hold 8 Sims. In the coming monthes, this will also be big enough to hold Fido, Fluffy, and any other critters your sims buy. Have fun cleaning up that mess. Hah.
This was also rather exhaustive to build, but turned out quite nicely!
Other notes: The garage has extra space in it to use as a workshop in case you want to run a home business, and can be converted into a little shop as well. With a little rearranging, traffic can also be rerouted to the basement, as it's big enough for any kind of home business you could imagine. For example, I ran a rather profitible bowling alley (Yeah, I love bowling hah) while I was playtesting the house.
Features Requires Uni, NL, and OFB 4x3 Lot, Hack Free, Fully Furnished Price : $176,220 (A bit pricey, I know) 3 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, 3 Half Bathrooms (if that's even the proper term) Spacious Deck Nursery, Attached Garage, Spacious Basement (with a surprise), Den, etc.
Edit: Forgot to mention the master bathroom and walk-in closet are situated above the garage. That's where the mystery door in the master bedroom (second_floor.jpg, upper right bedroom) leads to. You just can't see it in the screenshots.
Custom Content Included - Invisible Driveway and Extensions, by roddyaleixo - Porch tile, stair recolors, and wooden fence by Nengi65 at MTS2 - Oldwood Lattice in White by Loverat at MTS2 - Wooden Stairs *recolorable* by Numenor at MTS2 - Large Maple, by Grapholina.com - Allesia Flowers, by 11dots.com - Fake Trashcan, by Unknown (I'll find out the creator and update this)
If I forgot anything, let me know. Also, if anyone wants an unfurnished version, let me know too and I'll upload it. As with all my houses, keep it off the Exchange. Have fun and enjoy!

Boredom got the best of me again, so I got to work on another little country home. Miraculously, no sims died this time while in residence at their new home! Do enjoy.
Features Requires Uni, NL, and OFB 3x3 lot, Hack free Price: $80,803 - Fully furnished 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms 3 car driveway
Custom Content Included - Invisible Driveway and Extensions, by roddyaleixo - Siding, porch tile, stair recolors, and wooden fence by Nengi65 at MTS2 - Oldwood Lattice in White by Loverat at MTS2 - Wooden Stairs *recolorable* by Numenor at MTS2 (MTS2 is being a little stubborn on me at the moment, so I'll have links later)
Note: N65_Pinegultcher fence_whitewood.package is included seperately in the zip. Just place it in your Downloads folder. Don't know why it wasn't packed up with the house, but it's required if you want to see the white fence.
Again, if I forgot to include or metion any custom content, let me know.

One of my favorite houses built to date, although I only wish I had built it a bit farther back from the street. Also, the lighting in the screenshots is horrible. Oh, and I hope you like gardening, as I went a bit overboard with the flowerbeds. Built this one for a retired couple I had - and wouldn't you know it, they croaked the next day. I just can't win when it comes to keeping sims alive. FeaturesRequires Uni, NL, and OFB 3x3 Lot, Hack free $67,690 - fully furnished 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms Only Maxis-made content used (Except for invisible driveway). Custom Content IncludedInvisible Driveway and Extensions, by roddyaleixo http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=90875As with my last upload, if you spot any custom content I forgot to include/link to, let me know.

Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / First Upload - Cozy Victorian-esque (Uni, NL, OFB)

So yeah, as alluded to in my title: this is my first upload. Anywhere. I decided I'm finally getting good enough at this architecture thing to share my creations. I created this cozy little (read: small and cramped) victorian-esque house for one of my Fortune sims. Unfortunately, she perished in a kitchen fire while preparing breakfast an hour after moving in. Hmmph. So hopefully your own sims will get to enjoy it more than mine did. Features: Requires Uni, NL, and OFB 3x3 Lot and hack free Price: $125,817 - mostly furnished. 3+ bedrooms (room for more in basement) 2.5 Bathrooms (plus an unfinished one in basement) Kitchen, study/office, den, parlor, etc Driveway long enough for 3 cars Very spacious* basement *spacious enough in fact to hold three bowling alleys; enough to satisfy that obnoxious $5500 game Want my fortune sims so often get.Note: Bowling alleys not included - just pictured to show where you could place them. Custom Content IncludedInvisible Driveway and Extensions, by roddyaleixo http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=90875Do enjoy, and feel free to replace my not-so-attractive design scheme with your own. Matter of fact, I encourage it. I have no sense of interior design at all. Also, keep it off the Exchange; that place is just evil. One last note: if you spot any custom content I forgot to include or link to, let me know. I have a habit of forgetting things at times.
