I have the Gunmod's Radiance Light System Hack that allows the user to have the four main lightings throughout the day [dawn, day, dusk, night], and I just love the way my 'hood looks while dusk is occurring. So, is there any way to get rid of basically the "day" part of the hack and make it dawn, dusk [the longest part of the day - about 13 hours], and then night?

Any feedback that I can get, I'll appreciate it!

I have a main 'hood, North Shore. After it was created, I did the usual - I made inhabitants and then went about adding vacation spots, universities, etc.

Now, is there any way to get say ... another main 'hood such as Veronaville (that already has inhabitants but has no downtown, university, vacation spots, etc. of it's own) to just simply become the downtown lot to North Shore [my main 'hood]? I really just would like to have my two main 'hoods interconnected so that all of my sims can interact together.

Is it possible to do this? If so can some be kind enough to direct me to a tutorial or tell me how to do this? I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

I recently installed The Mansion & Garden Stuff Pack. Not being that "into" the pack - I uninstalled it. Now, all of my custom content is gone.
I thought that everything could have possibly gone into my recycling bin - nothing was there when I checked.

Where did everything go?
Is there a way to get it all back or did I ruin it for myself?
I'd hate to re-download everything all over again, but if I have to - I guess I'll just do it.

I have a little problem. I have been trying to get my game to start for the past twenty minutes and for some odd reason [for the second time in the past two weeks] - it won't.

The first time this happened I ended up uninstalling all of the expansion packs - stuff packs - along with the base game and re-installing everything. I have the same downloads due to cutting and pasting the folder onto my desktop and cutting and pasting it back into my sims folder once I re-installed. Could it be something in my downloads folder that causes my game to not start?

Is there something that I can do without redoing everything?
Any response on this will be appreciated.

Hello.

There are many lots in my lot catalog that are set up like row houses/town homes/brownstones that were created before Apartment Life was released. I tried to turn the properties into rental properties by changing the doors to the little hardwood door with the mat just like the pre-made AL lots had, but changing the door did not give me the option of renting.

I also tried to change the lot zone to "apartment" (just like "changelotzoning hotel" etc.), but the code shows up as an error when keyed in.

Is there a way to put pre-made lots up for rent?

Hello,

I decided to download a few things for my Sims today, but when I was asked the question -where would you like to place this download?- I found that my Downloads folder and everything else inside of my EA Games/The Sims 2 folder was missing except for Teleport and Logs.

If I'm remembering correctly, the only folders that were needed for the game to work were the sc4terrains and cameras folders -

- Can't I just download all new terrains? I don't play any of the terrains that came with the game anyway.
&
- Is there a place online with everything in the cameras folder up for download?

I'd really hate to re-install all of my games seeing as how I left my original The Sims 2 at home (I'm off in college states away)

Any help on this matter will be appreciated greatly!
