31  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Can't register on: June 07, 2009, 07:58:17 pm
For me I had registured my self before I installed the game. Then when I went to play the game, the launcher pop-ed up and It had my log-in name and I was signed in. I thought I had to register the game still, so I went to register and put in my code, and it kept saying that my code was already in use. I then went to "my page" and it showed up with my code on the page. So it does register you game automaticly. Check the "My Page" first and get back to us.

SO far it seems that the Sims game always comes up with a Dating EP, maby they just like to start us off with nothing and all the great things are in the EPs.
33  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: What kind of personalities would you like to see in furture games? on: June 07, 2009, 05:04:21 pm
Well not really a trait, just more of a side effect for the jealousy trait, like if they suspect the lover is cheating they could have a wish to find where they are and possibly peek at them from somewhere,

34  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Where can I get toddler clothing or am I just to stupid? on: June 07, 2009, 04:42:33 pm
Um yea, I would like to retrack most of my statement, I did play with a toddler(that I didn't make) and you can change ther clothes of apperance. They don't have to walk, crawling is just fine, just click on the dresser or the mirror and it will load like it was going in to CAS. Its not like TS2 where you cant tell how they will look until you are finshed.

Sorry but your stuck with the cloths they have on, unless you make a toddler. There realy isnt a way for adults to get new clothes, but try clicking on them like you would older sims to change them.

Yeah, all YA can get prego, my just had trips and I would say their age is more in the 18 to 25 age group.

Its right by the Goths House, in Sunset Valley. And its behind the City Hall building, in Riverview.

Ah yea, I don't know if many of you remember that they did make a Sims online game back with the original game, over 10 years ago. It was kinda hard to get, I don't really remember seeing it on any self way back then (cause I prolly want of gotten it.)

Back to personalities, I thin jealousy should be an option of traits, I think a crazy jealous sim would run around beating the crap out of any one their spouse or lover talked to. Then make a stalker trait to go along with that, constant spying on loved ones would be funny to watch, have their wish coinside with that trait, like wishing to find where so and so is.
39  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Lets Play Nice About Sims 3 on: June 05, 2009, 06:29:51 pm
I have it and have been playing since the 2nd. I like it, it kinda reminds me of the PS2 Sim's Bust'n Out, how you can change the color of clothing with out having to remake the whole outfit in bodyshop. Bodyshop was a pain for me to work around, so I think EA wanted to make it simple for those that thought the same way.
But once we can get some meshes made Im sure more people will play with it more.
The only bad thin is going to comunity lots and work, it is nice to see where they work but you cant see what they are doing.
Im sure soon we will be able to hack and mod to do the things we want to do. They think they made it harder for us, but that just means it will take longer to figure things out. Get SimPE to notice the files and read them, it will be a breeze to make them.

My suggestion is that if you have an External HD, run your virtual memory through it and not your PC's partition. It should be double what your initial ram is. Meaning if your RAM is 512mb, you should set your virtual memory to 1024mb. I have mines personally set to triple my RAM, because it's a 500GB HD, so I've got space to burn. If that doesn't ease the strain the game puts on your PC, sadly the only other option is upgrading it...or just uninstalling TS3 taking one on the chin.

I do have an 500g External HD but I also have a laptop, so I really cant go around caring that.
But thats interesting how you did that. Help me please, I have an ACER and I need to srink my D drive to add to my C Drive and it wont let me do that. Messege me please I need a new tech guy! Smiley
41  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: The sims 3, What do you think? on: June 04, 2009, 06:50:26 pm
I like it so far, the game diffently reminds me of Bust'n Out, has alot of the same features, change color, texture. You can change options for aging, right now my sims age at a very slow rate. One family has almost or has compleated their lifetime wish, but it doesn't change when compleated, and she is only YA! My babies take 25 to 30 days to turn in to a toddler, god thats forever! I had trips at the hospital and 2 out of 3 age in 25 days, the baby they had before; is still a baby and will age in 21 days. My YA wont age for another 150 days, god how many babies will she have before she becomes an adult!
So for all those people that don't like to age fast this is good for you!

I had that proplem too, you have to go into map mode and select options editmap, from there you need to select the button that says change active household. Once there click on the house that you want to play. Or select move out form the pop-up.

To put my 2 cents into this debate, My game works fine, my CPU speed is 1.66 ghz and thats is lower than recomended. I think it all as to do with ram, I have 3g and it runs really quick, load time for CC is to a minimum.
Remember in TS2 when EA said you had to have at lest 256mb of ram to have 2 guest invited over for a party, I got 3g of ram and I could still only invite 2 people max.

I think EA doesnt test the game on every computer avalible to see what works well. Every PC is different.

Toddlers seem to have the problem when they watch TV. Their arms and sometimes their bodies streach out and up twords the TV.

Now you say no pics, please clerify this everywhere and have all moderators know about the change with it posted even under upload section. Not every one wants to post more then one pic, and have access to a photo site. And under my login it says this.....News: When uploading creations, please attach 1 picture and 1 picture only. 45  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: What Kind of EP's or SP's would you like to see for the Sims 3? on: June 01, 2009, 09:41:22 pm
I would really like to see more Pets for sure, plus ferrets, I love ferrets.

And for every one else TSR is trying to make there TS3 modding tool compatable with TS2 objects so you can import them in to the game. Rock
