I found it one bad pack file in last CD of downloaded files
probly a bad download as all from reliable sites Thanks for all the help
Hope to never see a mess like this again
is it safe to put my old hoods back in or are they going to carry the problum I had back I realy dont want to do this again lol

OK I reinstalled the game ran all my old and new rars and pack files then ran that delpy thingy dont recall it's name got rid of about 4000 emty pack file, orpan files , and duplcate files. Seems to help speed things up video dos't jerk anymore
Now am geting a bunch of black grey and whire skins but realy just sort of outlines no detil at all on bodys face is there as is hair they are also on CAS in the custom sims there clouting can be woren by regular sim???
Is this something maxis did with seasons or have I still got a problum If this is Maxis I am thowing the Seasons dick in the burning barrel

I asked about This and was told to check for a bad mesh (hope thats spelled right) or vidio driver
after moving some files out of downloads folder back to normal
mine also turned white and gray

Thanks for the help Miss Doh its realy got to be a mess as when one folder with about 1000 files in it is moved out of the downloads seems to work.
Vidio card is a year old and driver was updated early spring. Now is there some way to sort messes from the other files?
As to killin them off at least now I have a use for the hit man by Danny opps hit person or the asult rifel lol

First off heard itwas unadvisable to just dump unwanted sims from the family bin so is there a way to safely get rid of them
Second latelu alot of my sims have been turning gray black or white all but face and hair . Anyone know whats going on??
Hope this is in right place as realy did look if not sorry
