I confess that I've been away from InSim for far too long .

I confess that I get where you're coming from Katie and my heart goes out to you.

I confess that having a child definitely distinguishes the men from the boys.

I confess that I've only just discovered the thread for sims stories (written stories).  I had always assumed that was another section pertaining to the "Sim's Stories" line of games 1DOHI.

I confess that my health lately has given me far more time than I want in bed.

I confess that one upside to that was finding little things that I've missed online--e.g., the stories that will be a welcome diversion for me for a while.

Wow just found this gem of a story!  Do you still have it from the beginning? After reading a bit today I'd like to see it from the start. Thanks.

Thanks guys I appreciate the enthusiasm. LOL, I believe I know the certain someone sim Aaron's destined for .  I don't add all of my sims to my downloads folder but he is currently living the adventurous life in my game (with a certain star child) and I'm quite enjoying him.


I may need to make a few more sexy hunks to ward off illness then (for myself as well).  
I believe I need a booster shot so up next? Hmmm maybe Hugh Jackman...yes I could totally stare at him for a while.

I have to agree with Mooncat on the cat issue—who does that?! And then adds stealing to their repertoire too? Good on you for putting your foot down.   Nice to hear that you've had more good then bad though.  I have yet to get my little one to put her things away Paden, what's your secret?

I've not been feeling up to par lately (watch that carpal tunnel pain Paden before you end up with nerve damage) and as usually happens post a flu shot I feel all achy and feverish—which I always get told is just a coincidence.  The upside is I get to lounge a bit and read up on what I've missed here and play around in body shop.

Trying my best to do absolutely nothing. It's not working out as planned--geez procrastination is hard sometimes...

Wow Niacin thanks for the links I'm definitely passing on this game.  Those amazon reviews were something else. 

I still have all my sims games installed and I'll be happy with those for a long time to come—no thanks to EA at all since they were nowhere to be found when I needed help getting my games to run, but rather massive thanks to the modders and members of all of the long time sims communities like this one. IMO they should just give the game back to the original designers and do TS2 reborn as it always should have been.  The sims created in TS2 look better that any sim in the new games and—and this is a big one for me, you can package them for sharing and game installation a lot easier.

As for them not doing a Sims 5? That's a plus if you ask me.  They should quit destroying the franchise now, just my humble opinion.
