For the Natural Redhead Project: 14 of my eyes, linked to a freckle texture.  Only download one of each color - the same color files have the same name, and the same cookiethingmagig.

The freckles use a low-opacity alpha and the darkest default skintone color, so they shouldn't create any unexpected light splotches unless you have skintones darker than Maxis dark available to your townies. The freckles themselves are also fairly discreet, so they shouldn't be a nuisance if they do show up on random sims. Additionally, eyes are rendered at the lowest layer, so you should be able to cover them up with makeup if you want.



The eyes are binned according to my usual scheme. Here is a chart of the eyes included in this download:

Most dominant: Brown, Dark Brown.

Dominant: Green, Brown-Blue Hazel, and Green-Brown Hazel.

Neutral: Blue, Bright Blue, Blue-Green Hazel, Green-Gold Hazel, Green-Grey Hazel and Light Green.

Recessive: Grey-Blue Hazel, Grey and Light Blue.

Most Recessive: none in this post.

Just two eyes in this post: pink or albino eyes, and a very vibrant green-gold hazel. They were basically the only two decent results out of a recent attempt to make some fantasy colors (btw, person who asked me, I don't think rainbow eyes will EVER look good). They are both binned (details below), and are available in either a townie/random sim variety, or a user-created sim only variety. Only download one of each color - the same color files have the same name, and the same cookiethingmagig.

My townie-friendly eyes do NOT replace default eyes. They are available to townies *in addition to* default eyes. If you'd like more townie eyes, I have some more normal colors in this post: 26 Binned and *Townie-friendly* eyes. New colors and updates for old eyes - de-Pets'd.



My binning scheme:

Most dominant: browns, blacks, etc.

Dominant: Green, dark blues, some hazels, etc.

Neutral: lighter/brighter greens and blues, some hazels, green-gold hazel.

Recessive: lightest blues and greens, greys, some moderately exotic colors, etc.

Most recessive: violet, red, novelty eyes, very exotic colors, albino eyes.

Note: If you don't like how I binned my eyes, just go into SimPE and change them. I'm not going to start setting up custom binning schemes for other people.

Er, I guess I'll get around to it sometime...I'm not really a fan of repeatedly sending my sims to Uni (once in a while's fun, every freaking time isn't) so I usually just assign them a college degree via SimPE.

Because this isn't the default replacement package, and I wanted to save bandwidth by allowing people to pick and choose which eyeglasses they like.

The following expansions and stuff packs were installed when this CAS was made: University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets and Glamour Life Stuff. THIS CAS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SEASONS.

Here is an improved CAS/family screen for skinners (and anyone who may want a clean, uncluttered look).  The CAS is in a medium-dark grey with warm undertones, and the family screen is in a medium cool grey. This is a plain, boring CAS for those who want screenshots of their work, and nothing else.

Advantages of this CAS:

* Improved screenshots with better lighting and no distracting backgrounds.
* Neutral colors make for better color decisions - the old background creates an optical illusion where red hair files and orange pets do not appear as intense as they really are. (The "orange" areas on the pictured cat have actually been toned down with a lot of yellow).
* Dark colors no longer "disappear" into the background of the family screen.
* Two different shades of grey allows for different screenshot backgrounds, in the event one of the greys causes a "dissapearing" effect with a new item.

You can see examples of these points in the attached images.
