yes i have got the dorm that you made but i have not had the time to furnish and play with it yet

i was wondering what custom cars other peoples sims own. one of my sims owns the ford edge:chainsaw:

to build an apartment:
1. enter lots and houses bit and place an empty lot
2. zone the lot as residential and give it a name
3. enter the lot and build your apartment block
4. furnish all of the apartments you have made
5. press ctrl+shift+c to open the cheat box
6 type in "changelotzoning apartment" (without quotes)
7. exit lot and a green house should appear above the lot
    click on the lot with the lots and houses bin open and a box with the number of apartments and the prices should appear enter lot and the residential letterbox should have been replaced with an apartment one

please note:
when building apartments you should only have one door leading into each apartment and all closets should be in little rooms
only use apartment life items

have you tried putting walls around the closet because it could be classed as a door into the apartment

mine has to be 45 degree angle cam and the measuring tool as i used to have problems making symetrical buildings and square rooms

you have too many doors leading into each apartment for it to work you should only have one apartment door leading into each apartment and noother doors leading out side
unless it is a normal door leading itno a fully enclosed area

i wold like it to be on a medium lot
i wiould like it to have:
8 dorms
a cafeteria
an entertainment room
a comunial area on each floor
please put in stair cases, doors and windows but no furniture
please make the dorms at least 6 x 6 tiles each and bath rooms on each floor
please do not use any custom content
