17  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Cosy Cabin on: June 15, 2008, 04:46:08 am
This Cozy Cabin has taken me a while to make. I wan to thankfirst off the following people who helped me in the modthesims2 Creator feedback forum: alidarivera, jhd1189, porkypine, dragon_tfm, PETCHY14, lemonontour.

This cabin is a 3 bedroom/1bathroom place nestled in a forest. It has a nice little pond in the backyard. This house comes fully furnished and decorated and the price is just: $77,085. The lot size is 3x4.  I used a total of 17 terrains for the effect I got. Hopefully it worked out alright. Because of the way the lots get packaged now, if the recolours aren't included I recommend downloading the recolours from those sites. Piggisims recolours are one package so it should be easy to find.

19  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Recolours of Expensive Maxis Curtian Not showing up in Clean Installer on: May 27, 2008, 06:31:47 am
I wanted to know why recolours of a Maxis Expensive Curtain weren't listed in clean installer when I Packaged the lot. There were custom recolours and the only reason I packaged them with just one wall and other recolours of the curtain so I could find out who did them but no recolours were listed. So I put them into another house(completed) and again nothing. I have all expansions and stuff pack plus I have patched Freetime. Any help is appreciated.

I created this house a while ago. I had problems with the roof being too high. But everything seem to be sorted out eventually.  Thanks to everyone who helped with me fixing the roof problem.

This two story house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, living area, a greenhouse, a garage, a bbq area and a neat and tidy garden. It comes unfurnished and undecorated except for the garden, which has a bbq, table and chairs.

The only custom content is from HolySimoly: http://www.holysimoly.com/

23  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Unusually High Roof on: March 23, 2008, 03:48:10 am
Ok guess what happened? After I loaded the game and played a family then moved them out of the lot and onto another lot the high roof returned. I since have put it down to a few possibilities:
1. The flatten lot tool. After I have used it I get the high roof.
2. I had WitchyWoman's Invisible Driveway installed but I haven't used it. I deleted it and low and behold the high roof had been corrected when I replaced the roof.
3. My game doesn't like the invisible driveways or
4. Freetime is doing this problem. I never had the high until I installed freetime.
5. A combination of all those things.

Uninstall is out of the question it takes too long. I am going to apply for holidays in september october then I will do an reinstall. I hope they will release a patch and see if that will help my problem.

See in that pic the green square? Well that is where I can place the level tool. Maybe that is part of the problem.
24  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Unusually High Roof on: March 20, 2008, 04:21:06 am
To everyone who helped: Thanks so much for your help. But I have solved my problem so far! I had the invisible driveway from here: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=90875 on the lot. I removed it  then deleted the roofs and added them again manually. Problem solved. Roofs seem to be back to normal! So this driveway must cause a conflict somewhere. I downloaded it a long time ago but never used it since my sim never have cars and this is the first time I was going to upload a house with a driveway will test invisible driveway from: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=244021 and see if I get the same result. If not I will upload the house with a driveway. Thanks again to everyone for you much appreciated help!

I wanted to test everything before I did an uninstall and reinstall thank god I did!
25  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Unusually High Roof on: March 19, 2008, 04:36:35 am
I have been having this problem at this thread: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=277895

The roof is unusually high. Iis normal for the game for those dimensions or if anyone else has experienced this problem before. I really don't want to do a reinstall.

I was wandering if anyone here might be able to help. Any help at all is really appreciated. Thank you!
26  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Custom Content not Showed Up in Clean Installer on: March 18, 2008, 03:11:58 am
The invisible driveway is still in the game but just not packaged with the house for some reason. I packaged another house and all custom content was included it just seems for some reason that particular item. But I will patch the game. When I installed seasons I think it updated pets, is that correct? And will I still have to install the patch? I have downloaded the latest Bon Voyage patch should I install that one? I don't have really any other problems with the game it runs excellent.
27  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Custom Content not Showed Up in Clean Installer on: March 17, 2008, 01:49:18 am
I hope this is in the right section if not could someone please move it- Thanks!

I saw that I had the Invisible Driveway under the maxis concrete driveway. Since I didn't know who created I decided to package the lot and see who it was that created the driveway. But there was no recolour of the concrete driveway in clean installer just the Wallpapers that I had used. I found out through Delphy's Organizer That the driveway is from this person: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=90875. Is it still safe to upload with the package/house even thought clean installer does not list it?
Thanks!
28  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Bear Statue-How Many Recolours? on: March 13, 2008, 07:10:00 am
May have found the possible cause: Freetime expansion. I moved my downloads folder to the desktop and loaded the game but there was still one colour, someone from another site suggested a darker colour or two colours instead of one so I wander since installing Freetime that might have caused the other colour option to disappear(or I could be completely wrong)
29  Simmers' Paradise / Sims Life Stories Help / Stuck on Finding Urns on: March 13, 2008, 07:05:00 am
I ended up reinstalling the game and used the female character and I seemed to have fixed the problem. I also completed the game. Just one question, how do I play the other character without reinstalling the game? Thanks!
30  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Mini Paradise on: March 12, 2008, 05:33:59 am
This house is a mini-paradise. There is a beautiful paradise hideaway style garden in the back for your sim to relax in with a pond to look at. And it is decorated with a beautiful variety of plants. On one the side of the house is a barbecue dining area. The house is a two bedroom/one bathroom two story house. There is also a side garden that any sim would want to walk down. The house is decorated and furnished.  What started out as with or without a fountain quickly became into fully designed garden. So thanks to all that helped: Vampire_of_Death, Sheepy-Pie, moldova, sean283, GCmax, PenChris, Deluxe Designs for all your help in creator feedback forum at modthesims2.
