Okay well this might have already been asked but I haven't seen it so I'll ask here okay say I download an apartment lot and I make a sim that I want in one apartment and then I decide well maybe I want my cute sim I just made to have an equally sexy neighbor would I just exit and save before any other default sims move into the lot or could I let the apartments fill up make my new sim and move them in would one of the sims move out and let the other sim move into their place much like how students do for other students in dorms in Uni? I mean I don't understand how to have many different sims that I make that aren't fugly maxis ones living in my apartment lots or did I just dream that up in my head and they really can't do all of the above because to my understanding it says in the manual that came with AL that you can control multiple households, but what if I don't want to play Michelle Tse's house or Brian Ruescwhick's house lol could someone shed some light on this for me if you get what I'm saying at all?

Ok this is something I need help with so I am currently trying to furnish a 4 rooms apartment building (because well thats all I can be bothered to do with my short attention span ) so anyway what I have so far is the lobby with snack machines and arm chairs on the first floor and on the 2nd floor I have a workout area and a stero for the sims enjoyment okay I have all the apartments rooms set up right but I was wondering if you guys think to make the game seem realistic should I put in every apartment basically the same stuff like same sofas but different colors, all the same counters, same dressers and beds but different colors, etc etc. I mean to make it seem like the landlord furnished the apartment building for the tenants? is that how normal apartments are furnished like in a community housing sort of thing or would that just seem to boring? what are you guys' thoughts?

I know I haven't asked for anything in a while but I was really hoping you would consider this and not just for me but for all AL players as well could you make a mod where you could see the other tenants in the buildings furnishings that is soo annoying for me so I downloaded the novanishingdorms hack from maty but I'm not sure if that would work for an apartment building but rather just a dorm if you could do this one I would really appreciate it

Okay so I looked through all 15 pages of posts and I didn't see what I needed help on lol so I'll ask here does anyone know why I can't contact the landlord because I can't see an option on the phone and he seems to leave the apartment block until the next day like I understand he comes in each day and does mantience but it says in the manual that you can call and complain to him about noisy neighbors and such but I just don't see how and when he does show up theres no option to 'complain' or anything I sure hope this isn't a hack/mod problem cuz I got a doozey of a downloads folder just busting with hacks so if it is then I'll get over it but on the other hand if it isn't could someone please explain to me how I can contact him? also I was wondering why I couldn't re-model a pre-existing apartment I know in uni you can put a cheat in that allows you to re-model dorms if you wanted to...why can't I place new walls, windows, doors or stair-cases in my apartment or do you have to have no one living in the lot and just enter the lot and re-model and furnish like you would a normal home and then move your sims in? thank you for any and all help

Okay so I was looking through some of you guys' post and some of you are talking about game crashes and I thought I would tell you what happened to me 3x today on the same object and after the 3rd time I want bother with it (even though it is so lovely) I haven't tested this to see if its buy mode or just collections where it crashes but as you all know whenever you install a new EP a custom icon for that EP is added to collections okay well I clicked on AL's icon to see what all was included with the EP instead of going through all the different categories and going 'okay thats new' lol so this is ONLY when I click on the new large wall aquarium in the collection file that the game 'terminates and crashes' now why the heck couldn't it crash on something not cool like those stupid tacky decroative pipes for example just thought I would tell you guys and see if anyone else is seeing this problem?

I just noticed this today so it hasn't been a problem for long but defiantly a critical one...the problem is I cannot open BodyShop it's like it 'crashes and will terminate' before it even loads!:blob6: and I have looked on MTS2 for help and there faqs tell me to delete my cache files- accesory.cache, registry.cache, groups.cache and my cigen package. MTS2 said if these files become too big then BodyShop will stop responding and that it is pefectly safe to delete them because the game regenerates new ones when it loads but I found something under My Documents/EA Games/The Sims2/ that MTS2 does not mention and its this

Hello All,

Tis me again I was wondering if you could make a Mod in which when a Sim calls or if a Sim calls another Sim they may talk as long as you want them to only by hanging up when the player cancels the 'talk' action It always bugs me that when someone calls vice versa the Sim will only talk to the other person on the other line for like 5 minutes lol I think this would come in handy for building friendships faster if this has already been requested I apologize:-P

Okay in my game I made a mother with 2 twins ones a girl and ones a boy I turned aging off for a whole year which in my mind is Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter lol so once it turned Summer again I allowed the toddlers to grow up into childern only before throwing a nice backyard birthday party with all the fixings ie. the buffet table, balloons, birthday cake, balloon arch, music all that so when it was time for the toddlers to grow up and by the time that happened my Party Score was a 'Disaster':smt120 and that bothered me because the children got a 'Had A Lousy Birthday Party' memory and they are my legacy family and I was just wondering if you could make a Mod in which you can pull the Party Score up or some kind of Party Minpulatior? I don't know what you would call it but you get the idea also my game crashed before I could save it so I have to do this all over again!!:blob6: lol but thanks in advance if you could make either of these Squinge

I bet your getting a bit tired of me huh lol but sorry I had to ask for another request which to some people might sound like a good thing but it takes the realism out of the game for me and that is for some reason my Sims have not been able to 'pay bills' the interaction is never there and nor does the Mail man drop the mail off and leave like he's supposed to I mean he tries but he doesnt get very far... he will take a step forward and be pushed a step back and that happens until 7 a.m. the next morning and then he will dissapear and materialize by the MailBox again :smt120 don't know whats going on there but I would like to request that the Sims can pay the bills again it bugs me that the mail man stays out there for 12 hours a day and if you greet him you can't ask him to leave ugh! and also and I suppose this is because of the no bills glitch but the repo man doesnt show up to repossess stuff nor do you get the warning message that you better 'pay them bills' lol thanks if you can help me out with this

I remember what I was thinking today and I don't know if this has been requested I looked through 20-30 pages and didnt see my request but I was wondering if you could make a Mod that would allow a Sim to not be so easy to catch on fire I CAN'T express to you how freaking annoying this is for me I had a home with 4 sisters in it and I left the game un attended for a brief moment and when I got back all 4 of the sisters had got into the Hot Tub (the sunken one) and I started to cancel out their actions so I could control them again and as they were getting out 2 of the sisters caught on fire automatically!:blob6: I tried to get the other 2 sisters to put each of them out but it didnt work and the Grim Reaper was being a Bastard and wouldnt grant me immunity so I lost 2 of the 4 sisters and on top of that I think I have killed atleast 6 townies in the Hot Tubs I don't know whats wrong with it I might have to download that stupid Seasons Patch but I really don't want to so if you could help me out with this I would really appreciate it because I don't see what the hell is going on it seems like if a Sim gets in the Hot Tub they better get ready to die because its inevitable I have't tested this glitch with the Love Tub Aspiration Gift but I'm pretty sure its the same way...

I Just discovered your 'Rub own belly while pregnant mod' and I think its wonderful but I have always pondered why mothers don't read a bedtime story to their children or for the matter sing to the baby? do you think you could consider this Mod maybe make and animation that the mother goes to get a book just like in 'Read To..' but instead of her sitting in the floor she would go to the childs room and sit down adjacent to the childs bed and the child would go into a relaxed animation and listen while the mothers reads to them awww:angel: and for the singing could you make it where the mother would either stand over the Crib and sing a lullabye to the child to keep he/she from crying and also what would be wonderful if the both the mother and child got a memory from either hearing a bedtime story or hearing a lullabye aww that would be so nice. my mother never read nor singed to me when I was small but I know I will sing and read to my child when that time comes and it would be great to have that in the Sims

I'm Amber and I'm new here I seen this thread and thought I would request just one mod that has agitated me since Seasons came out, and that is does anyone remember before installing Seasons when you would place windows that Sunlight would stream in through the windows and light up the room? well now that Seasons has been installed Sunlight no longer comes in and I have to use numerous lights to light up my rooms   I'm not sure if this bothers anyone else but it sure does bother me especially because of all the nice windows I have for my game that really are useless because theres no Sun coming through them I would be eternally grateful if someone was to somehow overwrite the Seasons lighting system/Sunlight system whatever you would like to call it so my house can have those pretty sunlit rooms once more (also I have checked with the Seasons Patch and it doesnt mention anything about a fix for my problem... and I know it is a Seasons glitch I've heard many people complain that right after Seasons was installed they would get this problem I also checked to see if I had any conflicting CC and that isnt the problem so pleassee would you consider this Mod It would mean alot to me
