I did a search on the forum and found zero info on this lil' problem, so I'll ask myself. I just mere days ago finally made the transition to TS3. I have all EPs and SPs up to Town Life Stuff. As the subject says, when I visit a community lot of any type, there are no other sims visiting. It's just my sim, and the NPC sim...no one else. No other sims generate...no Townies, none of my other CAS sims...no one. Is there some sorta' fix for this? Is there somethin' I'm doing wrong? Still pretty green in TS3, so any bit of help would be greatly appreciated.

No, they do go back to normal once the sim stops smiling. To make absolutely sure, I'm running through the long, drawn out, tedious process of seeing if a default replacement eye set snuck into my DL folder. Could be a couple days with how much CC I have...

Edit: Scratch that. I just loaded the game up with no CC and set one of my stripped down custom sims to smile, and the eyes still glitched...which proves my original theory that it's not any CC I added. But at least I now know I'm not the only person it's happened/is happening to. Oh well, guess I just have to work around it. Thanks for the feedback folks, you can close this one up.

Gave it a try. Went and grabbed the latest drivers for my card, and the glitch still happens. Thanks for the insight though, Joy.

Pretty self explanatory. I've been getting this really annoying glitch where my sims eyes will go completely transparent when they smile. Here's a snapshot example of what happens.



I'm hoping someone else has experienced this nagging problem, and can direct me as to how to fix it. I already know it's NOT anything to do with CC, as I removed all CC I downloaded since the glitch started happening, ran the game, and it still happened. When I switch the sim detail to low, it doesn't happen, so that confirms it's a technical issue. My GFX has more then enough punch to handle TS2, so I'm figuring it must be something that borked on the technical end.

This is what I'm faced with using any of the short hairstyles on any skintone darker then tan. Anyone have any clue as to how I can correct this? It happens with all skintones I have, not just specific ones, and only with hairs that the scalp is visible. (Mohawks, Fades, Crew-cuts, etc.)

It's been racking my brain for months now. I have the entire catalog of CC from DLMulsow's Hourglass bodyshape, but the only genetics included are Showerproof Barbie'd. Before I knuckle up and just make my own, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where I could find Showerproof Non-Barbie genetics for the bodyshape. Thanks in advance.

A sim who is so far from "sexy" it's not even funny...lol. His name is Raphael "Rhalphy" Perez. He uses Consort's "Fatman" body mesh, and he's a total slacker. Unemployed. Eats and plays video games all day, and couldn't get a girl in a female prison with a bag full of pardons...lol.

Absolutely gorgeous gals posted, folks. Every so often, you create a sim that just stands out. This is one of those sims for me...lol.

5GB? Try an staggering and brain boiling 24.8GB...and counting. I've willed myself to stop getting (and making) new CC until I get my new PC with my income tax return...which will top out at 8GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD (A TB is 1000GB to the tech illiterate). Suffice to say once that happens...my TS2 folder will probably grow to even more outlandish proportions.

This lil' lady goes by the name of Helena McEllroy. She's the younger sister of my sim Shyla McEllroy, and she was created using Jacci's uber awesome new Statuesque bodyshape. The dress she's wearing is a recolor of Jacci's StatShortDress mesh made by myself.

Just watched "Faster" last night, and hot diggitty was it good. Dwayne Johnson at his ass kicking best.

I think I'm in love with those last two... Cami is smokin' as well, but I have a soft spot for curvy girls. (As you could guess from most of the ladies I've posted...lol)
