Thank you for your reply. Re # 3: it wasn't the message that bothered me, but the fact that she had to dally around for "72 hours" before she became an adult.
#4 This was a regular residential lot in a main hood,  where a bunch of young adults were "in college", each with their own "apple" to start/stop etc.
Actually, since she was moved to the bin, she has been put in another house.

Looks like the last post was also from me, but so long ago...hope this is ok.

I have all the EP's (including the pseudo EP M&G). 
Some of the actions with this mod may be "normal" but some just don't seem right.  I have found other, old threads where the same things were asked, without answers.
With the mod installed if you use ANY process to age up, the teen will age to YA ("grow up", or the Maxis cake, or just letting them age-up by themselves).  If I use the "special cake" there is the option to "age to adult", but if I pick that, they have a sad memory of not going to college.
The NUMBERED items are issues that don't seem right to me:

1) I thought you would get the choice of NOT going to college, without any negative effect.

I have used it to have a group of teens in a regular hood lot, where they attend "college" as usual and graduate.  But if I want to speed it up, I click on the "apple", pick "Graduate".  A message pops up that says "1 hour before final exam" - they won't go by themselves, but WILL go if I send them.  It LOOKS like they are taking the freshman mid-term, but when they come back they will get the full graduation messages.
2) all her skills were maxed out.
3) got another  message "72 hours before you have to leave campus" - I could not find a way to END this.
NOTE: the job the Sim had as a teen stopped when they "went to college" (of course). During the "72 hour" period she could get a job, and had a car-pool; but under "Skills & Career" no job showed, only the normal college stuff. The next day the job had DISAPPEARED.
4) when the "72 hours" was up, got message "a taxi has arrived to take you home".  She was put in the BIN!
  NOTE: in the house that was specifically built as a college, where teens moved to (via a mod that allows teens to move out) they could age to adults without being yanked back to the bin.
5) moved her into another house; now she had THE SAME JOB she had as a teen, but at almost top level - even though she didn't have enough friends.

I thought there was more than one adoption mod that involved picking teens and/or sex etc.

I have all EPs, and Glam, Celebrate, Family fun.

Need advice about which of the adoption mods I should use, and how they function (i.e. what choices are available).
I had an adoption mod installed, knew there was only one baby (a boy) in the "Pool", and wanted to adopt it. I picked "baby", and the wrong sex showed up. The baby was PUT UP for adoption by another mod - I don't know who did that mod; maybe the baby just ceases to exist ?

I deleted the mod; I think the mod I had was to allow teen adoption, but on searching I now find a number of different ones.  Now I'm confused about how it's even SUPPOSED to work.  The latest one I found (by Squinge of course) was 11-2008.

I also had "adopt same day" installed, and have read that they conflict (which might explain why the adoption was NOT the same day).

So what I want is basically to be able to do this:
adopt teens, choose skin tone, choose from pool or "create" (I understand you can only choose sex if kid is NOT from pool).

Anyone interested in making: tatoos on bald heads, suitable for aliens - the more bazaar the better (bar codes? cracks?). My fav: most of "skull" is missing and brains can be seen.  Also wierd hair for all ages; clumps of "electrifried" hair, or bald on top but fuzzy or long everywhere else, or bugs/snakes instead of hair.  My fav: a full head of feathers, from downy toddlers to muted adult women to bright colors for adult males.

I just want some big guys for background shots (and they won't be nakid). I've found lots of types of bodybuilder skins, but if I dressed them in regular clothes they don't retain that muscle look (?).  So I'm thinking maybe all I need is clothes anyway; so (if all this is correct): WCIF dark suits/body guard/bad-guy type of "bodybuilder" clothes?

Found it:OMG "porn"?! gee I don't consider nipples (which Maxis allows on MEN), or other "natural" things to be porn. But it looks like most Simming people do. So thanks & by.

After weeks of searching, I've come here for help. I want a default set sorta like the Ephmera re-do at Sirona Sims. They are more detailed and shiny than Maxis, with a more realistic face texture and more muscle-moddling. I've seen some advertised as showing MORE cut when they are "fit"; nice, but not a requirement of mine. Like Sirona's, they need to have no eyebrows and little or no lashes. AND (the hardest to find!) must have nipples and a discrete furry bit. The set at Sirona WOULD have worked (even though they are half/barbie) but in MY game (!?) her S3 looks as dark as Maxis S4! And in my game, even Maxis S3 is too dark.

Downloaded Mega Pack; have question about aging from teen to ADULT. Read instructions to mean that the special cake had option to age-to-adult, but it does not.  After reading last few posts, I tried just letting a teen age with NO cake - they aged to Young Adult. So, how do I have a teen age to adult? And then how to make them be OK with not attending college, the apple? I tried letting them (via differant ways) age to YA, then use cake to age to adult (without using apple to "start class"), but they have memory of college. What I am trying for is ageing from teen to adult, with no college, and no whinning about it. Also am concerned that - whither they went or not, whither they actually completed or "graduated" before completed - all skills become maxed! Is THAT supposed to happen.

Looking for skins, I keep trying to follow links and get the "missing or off limits" stop sign. I read (in a post 12-08) that this is because the link doesn't exist anymore. But I ALWAYS am getting it; does this still, really, mean people or sites are dropping like flies? Than again, I AM just looking for one type of thing..
