Some cool features:

early promotions require few family freinds, middle ones require none, later ones require maximum of 6
Your needs don't change while you are at work
fairly easy chance card questions (with a few trick questions tossed in)
You never get demoted or fired as a result of chance cards
uniforms and carpool cars that apply to each promotion
