This may sound stupid (and believe me, if it doesn't work, please discard my advice) but sometimes when my game, either lots or the game proper is slow to load, I just minimize and pop back in. When the hourglass goes away, then the bar speeds through. Just a thought.

Amazing, sweeping black and white photograph of Calvin Coolidge's inauguration in 1925. It comes at a rather timely moment, given the momentous event of earlier this month, and I think that it makes a lovely painting for a sim's home. I am unsure which games it will work with. I only have the expansion packs Nightlife and University, but it is a recolor of The Meaning of Fruit, and will be found as such. Obviously, I made it with SimPE's photo studio (why would you use anything else!!??) and it is the very first CC I have ever uploaded in my life, so I hope that you like it and that it works! Thanks!

Irritated guy sims have the funniest monologue while clutching their head: Vashnoo? Eh, barobajie? ERRRRR valabanon, goor!!!
Another personal favorite is from the Sims 1 when the people calling their pets would lean down and say "Shoom, plicka! Ba, plicka plicka!" in like a here, kitty, kitty voice.
And, of course, that great classic goodbye, Sool Sool!
