1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: What action or Animation you hate the most in sims2? on: September 06, 2011, 01:24:28 pm
lol most of these problems can be solved with free-will off. I hate when they don't automatically go to the car for work when you have free-will off, instead a message pop-ups telling you that your sim needs to be at work in an hour. By the time you make it to your car, your sim is already late. This also applies to washing dishes after eating. ugh.

Sims having nightmares. My sim had a nightmare about the matchmaker. I guess she feared that as an opinion.
Sims being asked if it's ok to give their number out to another sim when chatting with a sim.
Getting a promotion over the phone.

I almost cried three weeks ago when my video card died while I was playing Sims 2. I was near tears when after installing my new video card, I learned my sound card was fried, too. I figured out a way around that yesterday and did the Happy-Happy Joy-Joy dance when I got to the neighborhoods page, so yes, I still play the Sims 2.

My primary reason for not moving on to Sims 3 is the cost. Wink

Awww! That is so cute.

The Sims are so ugly that I can't bring myself to care. Thanks, though.

I'm playing this game with Late Night, and it's definitely not as bad as I thought it was in the beginning. There are some things that annoy me about the game and there are some things that I miss about The Sims 2 that aren't in the game like the simple interactions. I still can't get over how ugly the sims are, but cute clothes make them bearable. I give it a C.

I always get the urge to play after I have played only to be bored. And the sad thing is, in order for me to play the game I have to switch hard drives. Sigh.

I didn't know you could ask sims their interest to make good relationships. I recently discovered that my best friend's husband loves to talk about fashion.   Wink
9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: What have you done with your default sims? on: May 06, 2011, 07:58:49 pm
Did you delete them or kill them off? I ask because outright deleting sims is bad for your game and can cause corrupted memories and other nasty bad stuff.

I just don't play with the default sims. In fact, the only two neighbourhoods I have in my game are two I created.

Ooh! Thanks for the tip. I always delete them. Now I know not to.
10  Simmers' Paradise / Sims 2 Apartment Life Chat / Re: Has this happened to you? on: May 01, 2011, 06:03:29 pm
I do this with magazines like Metropolitan Home, but I get bored and frustrated rather quickly. So I usually end up in a house or apartment that is already furnished.

That sims can call and ask if they could come over.

I think the medieval theme is laughable.
13  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Buzz / Re: Sims 3 for Xmas, already back to Sims 2... :[ on: April 10, 2010, 04:52:11 pm
I still cannot get over the fact that they built a neighborhood that is not accessible. Your sims go in places but you do not get to see them in those places. Who came up with that? Or was that just an exchange for an open neighborhood?  Even still, I can visit every single one of my neighbors.  huh
14  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Re: What would you do if you woke up inside The Sims 2?! on: April 10, 2010, 04:01:59 pm
Um, I do not know because wouldn't someone else be navigating me?

Freetime has SecuROM, which is likely what screwed up your desktop, so head on over to Reclaim Your Game to get the removal tool for the silly thing. Download it. Use it. Make it better if you can. Good luck.

I went to that site, and it said I wouldn't be able to play Freetime if I remove EADM.
