Hey, Smiley

More already uploaded eyes, but ones I really like. Hope you will too!
They are named after the seven deadly sins, and four other major ones.

No paysites.

(ps. a FAQ Wink Yes, the wings are photoshopped...)

Hey all Smiley

I'm gonna start uploading my favourite creations that I've already posted on MtS2, but for a lot of those I'd like to take new pictures (the old ones suck) so it'll take a while before everythings up.

These eyes comes with pictures I'm happy with, so here they are Wink
None of the models will be making an apperance, but if you PM me, I'd be happy to tell you where I got the CC, the images are altered in Photoshop, so stuff like the hair may not look exactly the same. The eyes are totally un-altered though.

And yet again, this is one of my recent tries making realistic eyes.
Not there just yet, but if you go to mts2 and check out my earlier work, you'll understand why I'm saying I'm getting closer Wink

Hope you'll like 'em!

19  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Eyes / Secret Eyes - Now With Defaults on: May 04, 2007, 01:29:58 pm
Hello wonderful people!

This is also one of my attempts at realistic eyes. These eyes are not really my usual style, but they turned out pretty good anyway Smiley
Well, I hope you'll think so.

Added Deafults!!! Thanks to the lovely Dewshine, who made me a defaulting for Dummies guide, I've finally learned to make defaults!!! It is a happy day indeed.
From now, there's two zip files, and if you don't want these eyes as your defaults, stay away from the file named SecretEyesDefaults Wink Easy huh!
If you already have another set of defaults in your game, remember to remove those first.
These defaults works for me, but let me know if they don't for you. The default colours are the five bottom ones in the pic with all the colours.

No uploading to paysites!Smiley And credit please! ^^

I'm always trying to make that perfect realistic eye set, I'm not there yet, but for those of you who have seen my earlier attempts at mts2, you can agree with me when I say I'm getting closer Wink

This is one of four recent attempts.
Hope you like!

Edit: Added defaults. If you already have default replacements, remember to remove those first.

23  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Eyes / Coppelia Eyes on: May 01, 2007, 01:38:15 am
First upload here at Insim! Feels great!

The famous ballet "Coppelia" is about a doll maker who makes a doll who's so beautiful and life-like, a young man falls in love with her.
The ballet is also called "The Girl with the Enamel Eyes". (Enamel is a paint that dries to an very hard glossy finish.)

I usually don't do dark eyes, I'm normally in the other direction, in the bright vibrant section. But new site, new things, right?

Hope you'll find these useful!

24  Simmers' Paradise / Tutorials / How to make Contact Lenses on: April 22, 2007, 11:02:05 am
Welcome to my first tutorial. *watches people run away* Wait, come back!
I've been asked how contacts work very many times, I searched the site but I couldn't find an already existing tutorial. So...

Do you want your sims to be able to change eye colour with just a look in the mirror? Continue to read then.

First step, open Body Shop and an image editing program. I use Photoshop, but this is the simplest procedure ever, so almost anything will work.

Second step: In Body Shop, pretend you're making a new set of eyes and export the eyes you'd like to have as contacts.  Name it whatever you’d like, cause we’re only after the .bmp files.
(If you’d like to share these new contacts with someone else, make sure the creator of the eyes is okay with that.)

Third step, quit that project and start a new one, I recommend exporting a blush as a base for this, because with a blush, you can make your contact lenses multi-wearable (which means you can wear a normal blush at the same time).
If you do the contacts as a mask, you won't be able to wear another mask at the same time as your lenses. Plus, do it as a mask and you wont have a swatch image.

Naming this project can be done with greater care, this we won't throw away.

Fourth step: So, new project, open the image editor and find the first .bmp files you’ve exported.
What you want to do is take the .bmp files from the eyes, and replace the .bmp files in the blush.
The simplest way to do this is to open the first files, the ones that came with the eyes. Then start with the alpha file, that's the black and white and chose "Save as", now you click your way to the other project files and chose the blush alpha file (most likely it says alpha somewhere in the file name). Save. And yes, you do want to replace the existing file.

Fifth step: Repeat but change files and do the bmp's with colours this time.

Refresh your sim in Body Shop, and voila! Brand new you.
Make sure you have green symbols on all the ages and both genders.
If you want, change the swatch to something prettier.

To make your contacts multi-wearable you need to import the contacts to the game (to make them show up in the savedsims folder).
And then go read this excellent tutorial made by HystericalParoxysm over at MtS2.

That's all from me.
