76  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Graceful Living on: February 20, 2007, 02:05:43 am
Do your elder sims need a new home?  What about the old romance sim that's making trouble in the house they owned, because their grown up child came home to live with them, got married, and because old habits die hard, they find life unbearable in their lot.  What about the fortune sim that worked hard for the living they made and just because they made a mistake, (caught on a date with some floozy), they have been made homeless? Need that place that provide the comforts of home for that thoughtless pleasure sim or party animal popularity sim, then this is the place for them.  A beautiful, innocent look on the outside, but a place of sin on the inside.  Woohoo!

Lot: 2X2
Cost: 115,500 simoleons, (all the decorations and high maxi furnishing)
Features: Carport, Master bedroom and dressing area, 1.5 baths, basement with TV area and inground hot tub, pool, balcony, and an upstair to be furnished to your taste.

Custom Content Included:
Flagstone Light Flooring, White deck stairs recolor, Flowering vine 2, Ornate Outdoor Lamps and Sconces by Nengi65 @ MTS2  (please check out her page, she is the coolest)

Okay, here we go with the thanks and I really mean a big thanks to all the creators above, because this lot would not look so cool without them.  Much thanks to INSIMenator for this forum and welcoming us with our creations. Happy Simming and Enjoy!!!

77  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Maxis Suburbia Part 2 on: February 18, 2007, 08:02:18 am
Do you have space downtown for a small lot that needs filling?  Well check out this small space filled with a traditional home for your family sims. Oh yes, it is maxis only ( I did it!) and roomy enough for 6 to 8 sims.  If this is what you are looking for, then sit this puppy down in your downtown neighborhood and watch your sims dreams come true!  Oh okay, it's not all that hot, but it is all maxis, yeah!

Lot: 2X2
Cost: 81,600 simoleons
Features: Attached garage, eat-in kitchen, livingroom, 3 beds, 3 baths, recreation room and study in basement, landscaped and furnished in our lovely maxis decor. Master bedroom with ensuite dressing and bathroom.

All thanks will go to maxis for this wonderful game that keeps me up all night. Thanks to the sims community and INSIMenator for this forum and allowing me to be so silly at 7am.

I know it looks pretty plain, but I am sure you simmers out there have some cool stuff to dress this baby up.  Have fun and happy simming.

This lot was built with all EP's. No stuff packs included.
78  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Maxis Suburbia on: February 18, 2007, 01:11:15 am
I decided to build a house that was all maxis, but failed because I used to custom items.  I thought it turned out cute and larger than my goal.  Just wanted a new family sims home on a small lot, because my computer's old and can't handle too large of a lot.  I hope you like it too! Smiley

Lot: 2X2
Cost: about 85,010 simoleons
Features: basement garage, 3 or 4 beds, 2.5 baths, kitchen, livingroom, diningroom, recreation room in basement, landscaping, fully furnished with Maxis items.

Custom content included:
Pine recolor of deck stairs- Justmoi @ MTS2
Garden Plant 01- Nengi 65 @ MTS2

Custom content not included:
Numenor's recolorable deck stairs- Numenor @ http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=53159

You will need the stairs to get the recolor or they will come out just brown.
Thank all the creators for their imagination and talents and thank to all in the sims community for giving tutorials and help in making the possibility of this lot.  Thanks to INSIMenator for this forum, so we can share our work! Love Ya!  Hey! Tell me what you think.

This lot was built with all EP's. No stuff packs was used.

80  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / Hotlanta, Peachtree Suburbia! on: January 28, 2007, 01:03:51 am
The reasoning for the title, you may ask?  I was inspired to build one of my Aunt's house in Atlanta, Ga. USA.  I use to love visiting this her house as a child, mainly because she had so many children, 6 cousins. Boy did we have fun!  My main thing in building this lot is making the basement garage.  As you may now know, I only like using the short extention piece, because of the delay when the cars pull out.  All the tutorials was with both driveway pieces, so I had to modify a bit.  I hope you don't mind not seeing them pull out, just transport.  Well now let's go with the specifics on this lot.

Features:  Built on a 3X2 lot, cost around 108,000 simoleons, 4 bedrooms, utility room in basement, recreation area, 3 baths (1 bath ensuite), livingroom, diningroom, kitchen and patio area in backyard. Comes fully furnished with Maxis, and landscaped.

( Hey do what I do, when I download the lot, I strip the Maxis furniture and furnish the way I want to).

....At least I think it looks a little bit southwestern.  I don't think pine trees and cactus go together, but what the hay, I think it looks good.  I got word from my doctor that I will be going back to work Monday, so I thought I would play my game a little.  While playing, I needed a new home for one of my knowledge sims family, and built this little lot for them. I have all EP's and Happy holidays stuff pack.  Oh yeah, I don't know if it's the cacti or where I placed the lot, but if you don't mind the wolves coming to your house, this is the lot for you.  I got 3 at the same time and they took turns beating my sims dog up.  Going to DJS Sims to get the wolf keep away sign.

Hi everyone!  I thought I would share my first attempt at building a beach house to be placed in the Bluewater neighborhood on the coast line.  I needed another home that was different from what I had, and was tired of waiting for someone to build one, so I attempted it.  I think the project came out well and decided to share with you all for feedback.  This one of the hardest part of the game for me, because I want my houses to look a certain way and I love the way the Sims 2 community build from their imagination.

86  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / A nice peaceful home in the country... on: January 06, 2007, 11:56:02 am
When I built this home, I thought of my grandma's house in Arkansas, USA.  I didn't build it exact to her house, I also made it to be playable in my sims game.  Her home was built on stilts because of the flood plan she lived in, so there was no basement in her home, she had the big wrap around front porch that was so inviting when you visited, so I included it, and I thought about the family that I made in my game and build it to their specs.  I also thought that you may like to play it too.  In my home I have a family sims couple that are raising 3 children sims here. They also own a dog and cat.  I hope you all like it.

87  Sims 2 Community Downloads / Residential / House for the sim guys on: December 23, 2006, 06:38:23 am
I had looked at the houses that I built for my game and said to myself,  all my houses look a little girly.  Or had a woman's touch to them. So I decided to build a house just for my sim guys.  After I built it I thought  I would upload and share with the community.  I would love the feedback from you all because, I know I will hear the truth.

This is a suburban house, set on a 2X3 lot with 3 possible bedrooms,(if you eliminate the study and the tv room in the basement), 1 car garage, driveway, pool, 2 bathrooms, open plan kitchen, living and dining area.
In the basement, a t.v. room and recreation area.

Cost: 113,400 simoleons

Furnished with Maxis content

Home has been cleaned installed with the clean installer and no hacks.

Custom content included in download:

A great big thanks to all the creators of the items I used in this upload and all the creators in all of the sim world.  My game would not be nearly as fun without this.

I have all expansion packs, but no stuff packs,  I tried to not use pets items in it, but now I know that the pets ep will affect the other items from other expansion packs, so if you don't have  all expansions it may cause problems in your game.:toothy5:

I had tried to make a photo album to show the way I decorated it, but Photobucket is giving me problems.  If anyone have suggestions I welcome a new place to put my photos.

Also, Merry Christmas and may all your dreams come true!!
