I'm not sure about the deletion part and certainly don't want you to have any problems with your game , however , there is this mod by Mootilda http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=420924 which will allow you to add additional shopping districts , downtowns etc. I use it as part of Meetme2theriver's cleaned hood templates , works great. If you can't get an answer that leaves you feeling completely worry free , this is a good option. Good luck and happy simming!

Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Crashing after install
|

This probably won't be of any help , but it's the only thing I can think of. I've only reinstalled once , but when I did I had to manually clear some registry entries. I did that prior to reinstalling the game , so I have no idea if not removing those entries would have caused problems with playing after the reinstall , if I hadn't deleted them. I used the guide here http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:Uninstall and followed all steps in order. Sorry I don't have any other ideas at the moment. I'll try to follow this thread and If you are still having trouble and I can think of anything else I'll post again. Good luck!

The Wrestler is an awesome flick. The wrestling just serving as a backdrop for far more universally felt themes. Great performance by Marissa Tomei and the best performance by a bloated actor (Mickey Rourke) not named Marlon Brando ever. I haven't enjoyed Rourke's work this much since The Pope of Greenwich Village , a real oldie.

@ Levera , your English writing , no matter how you come about it ( personally , with help , using a translator) is more than fine. I'm envious and admire you , I wish I could communicate in any language other than English half as well as you do. Anyone that says otherwise is either nitpicking , having a bad day , projecting their own foul mood or has other issues. I'm somewhat familiar with your writing from MTS ( if this is the name you used to go by on there , before you changed it) , where I have a similar username to mine here , just all caps and with a last name added on. I always enjoy your posts , you have a fun attitude and are always wanting to learn more about the Sims game. Being fun/happy and wanting to learn things are traits that more simmers , or people in general, should have , you rock! If the majority of the simming world spoke Hungarian , or any other language , and the forums were conducted in that language , I think my post count for all the forums combined would be 0 . I can't begin to imagine how frustrated I would be at wanting help , answers or information about a game I loved and having to work very hard to get that information and risk ridicule because of it. A few years back my old computer died and I had to try to replace all the cc that I really loved , that I'd lost. One of the things was a deco boxing ring made by FeeEssen that had disappeared from her site. I used google translate to send her a request in German for help finding it again. She was so kind and helpful and sent it to me by E mail. I showed a friend of mine , that speaks German fluently , my request to her and he had a few really good laughs at how certain things translated. That's just the way those things work , anyone reading one of those translated texts should have the good grace and common sense to laugh with you , not at you , as I was fortunate enough to experience. I admire your effort and desire , please don't let the negativity of others diminish those qualities. Happy simming!

Glad I could help Peter , my pleasure. Squinge (and later Chaavik) did a fantastic job of updating most , if not all , of the mods that needed tweaking. I can't imagine playing without so many of those great mods. If I find something I want and don't yet have , I just work backwards. Starting by seeing if there is an AL version(or M and G) , then Freetime , BV etc. A quick peak at my hacks folder shows I use 78 different Squinge mods He sure made the game more enjoyable in a bunch of ways. I'm a hack/mod addict so if you ever need anything else , don't hesitate , I'll try to help.

Tarox4Sims2 at the graveyard has lots of stuff. I think Biene and Picolink, also at the graveyard used to also, although I didn't see anything with a quick look. I feel like I'm forgetting some other sites that do to. Haven't slept in about 24 hours , so not the sharpest blade in the drawer. if I think of others in the next day or two I'll edit post to add them. Good luck!

So sorry for your loss Joy. I've had 4 "just cats" that passed and currently have 3 more "just cats". To me, they are friends and, indeed, family. Much love has been shared and passed both ways , I couldn't ask for anymore. I treasure the memories. Ignore the senseless ones, they know not what they miss. Peace and good thoughts to and for you and your sweet Lobo. Take care.
