I do recall reading that thread, quite possibly what prompted me to go in search of (go figure)

Im not looking for the next best thing since sliced bread eihter, just something that has the same..ease of use to do mt personal conversions with and have them actually look decent and not some hack job..which is the effect I get when using Bloom's other awesome multi alpha's ( decent looking work that is  )

I await result of forementioned prodding! Cheesy
3  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / TF Multi Alpha Full Body Dress on: July 01, 2009, 05:05:34 pm
Hi there!

I've been looking everywhere for a Multi full body dress alpha set for TF. I've found Blooms bottom only alphas, which are awesome to work with and would like the full body dresses/skirts as well.

From what I have been able to find, is that there is one or two out there, but no link to anything.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Allo!

Since it has been a month since a response, is the consensus to bury this idea? Cheesy

Cheers!

Allright, good to know. Cheesy I know I saw some sims aging up (ie bar increases while playing) and nothing on others, so its good to get confirmation.
6  Retired Creators / Female Hi-Res Bodyshape Project / Missing texture in nude mesh/outfit on: April 12, 2009, 07:42:01 pm
Hello,

Just been going thru CAS and found that one all of the default replacments, I am getting a missing texture, right around the breast area. This is happening on both adult and teen outfits and I know I recall seeing something about needing updates or something..anyway, just looking for some help so I can resolve the problem.

Thanks!

Indeed! And it seems to be relatively straight forward to boot. Question then for you, with the options for aging off, does the bar still fill up?

Ooo. I see. Looks like I'll be trying the local version to see what it can do.

Thanks for looking into it Squinge. I've taken alook at thos other mods and while i can follow the logic loops, how it actually works is still greek to me at the moment  huh

Fair question. Smiley I have been playing with it for a few days now and its like ..I do not want it to be dependant on having the special object cake to control things, but rather, something on the sim itself to control when they grow up.

A selection by each sim, that says, age on/off? If off - Allow Grow up via cake system, If on - As per Maxis normal.

It may make the mod request a bit big, seeing as I do not know really what something of this magnitude entails in terms of overriding base code, but when I get right down to it, I'm looking for individual sim selectable aging global mod, as opposed to a pause everyone aging mod and use this object to age when needed.

Does that make sense? (It is late night after all and my fingers tend to not translate what my mind is telling them properly ) Cheesy

Edit:Looked into the other mod I'd found with SimPE, and to further clarify what I am requesting, it would be let the sim age bar fill up and pause, not go into a forced 'grow up' action until a user initiated action to grow the sim to thr next stage of sim life. There may be a mod already out there that does that, but I havent found it yet.

True..if I never wanted to have my sims grow up Smiley From my understanding, using agingoff/onn does not allow you to use the cakes to 'grow up' your sims. Is this misconception on my part? Cheesy

Hello,

I have been trolling the boards for awhile now and have not found a mod I did not like. Cheesy

Now, heres my request:

I'm looking for a mod to pause the aging process, no longer automatic on the final day and is user controlled only, via the birthday cakes or menu option.

Edit Here is a link to what I've found so far.

My setup, as per guidelines is: Double Deluxe, University and Open For Buisness.

Thank you and have a great day! Cheesy

It does, it just means theres no 'quick' way to do things  Grin I figured out most of how I needed to rename and fiddle with the orginal recolours and adapted files names to the defaults of the multi mesh, dependin g on what type of footwear, layers etc. Was a fun way to spend 4 hours or so, lol!

Thanks!

Hi there! not trying to trol up this thread but I was just doing some personal conversions from other body shapes to Faerie gal, and was wondering what the main mutli mesh looks like for this package?  I just figured out for myself to rename other alpha and text name files from other creations to line up with appropriate non blacked out BMP's to get a particular outfit to work, (mostly) and was wondering  what I need to look for in Body Shop that is the Alpha mesh in order to speed up my work.

What I am converting is others work to this body shape and no intentions of publishing, just for my personal use only (nary a clothing creative bug in me, but Im good with the nuts and bolts of files/programs)

Thanks!
