2  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Riverview not working on: September 27, 2009, 06:10:01 pm
I've tried installing it too, and it won't download correctly, so it won't let me install it.
3  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Severed Family ties - Is there a fix? on: September 07, 2009, 11:06:02 pm
Hi all!

I just noticed something in my game - I had the mom and dad break up, but their three children are no longer labeld as their 'son' or 'daughter'; they're simply 'old friends', and no longer show up on the same family tree as either of their parents, including the one they're living with. Is there a glitch that does this? Is there a way to fix it?

Thanks in advance!
4  The Sims 3 / Sims 3 Help / Re: Installing new hairstyles (InstallerMonkey not working!) on: August 21, 2009, 02:14:44 pm
I reinstalled the first time, and the game still didn't load, so I did it a second time, and got rid of all the custom content, and now it works just fine - that is all the peggy hairs, and clothing from all-about-style, save for 3 of the patterns that DID work and didn't cause problems.

I've just installed the hair (not the clothes) and it's working fine, so it must be the clothing files that cause problems.

thanks for your help everybody!   cool

Ps. I followed the Installer Helper Monkey instructions. They work!

Well now I'm having a new problem - I've ininstalled and reinstalled the game twice, there is no longer any Custom content on my computer, and loading crashes are still happening - the game simply will NOT load. AND it isn't showing up as 'new programs installed' on the start menu. what am I doing wrong?

I'm having problems getting several new hairdos I downloaded to install into the game, let alone actually show up. InstallerMonkey doesn't work, and neither will the EA Downloader. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I found a thread on Don Lothario and someone said he was in River View...another neighborhood? Are there others? How do I get to them?

Well that explains alot, since I have Vista. Thank you! I went to go check out the other censor remover, but the link you posted is broken.

I've downloaded the censor patch from sexysims2, but it doesn't seem to be working. I don't understand how it's activated in-game. The last censor patch I had worked automatically. What happened to it? Can someone help? thanks.
