Gah, just figures.  Blind as a bat.  Now I get to figure out who knocked up my sim and beat him to within an inch of his simmy life.

edit: upon checking the family tree, only the mother shows.  Guess this kind of thing is what'll have to happen...

I've looked all over, and have probably just missed this in-game.  Is there a way to tell who the parents of a baby is?  I have a family set up that I was working with for a day or two and then I switched to another family for a couple days.  I came back to the first family having a new baby.  Of the 3 adults in the family, only one is a parent.

I remember in Sims 2 there was a family tree type of thing but I can't seem to find anything like that.  Am I just blind or is it not there anymore?

I know a couple ways to fix this.  Load a previous save, if you even have one.  Or, edit the town and evict that family and move them back in.  You'll lose thier wishes but at least the sim and toddler won't be stuck.
