I don't know if anyone has noticed yet....But the Sims 2 exchange is back up. You can't get into anything though, who knows what they did while it was down! I thought there might be a few of you who would be interested to know that it is back up though.

Let me pose a question!

If a sims 2 site no longer exists, and the creator that ran the site is no longer reachable, is there any harm in sharing meshes or creations from said site? I guess what i am asking, is if someone were looking for one certain item to complete thier game, but sat item can no longer be found wether it be because the creator retired, or simply disappeared, and the site hosting the item is completely gone, is there a moral obligation to just let the item disappear form existance should someone else posses the item?


P.S. Moral obligation, or complete loss of content?

Can anyone tell me where I can find the mod to get rid of the sims 2 intro movie when you start your game?

Does anyone know what's going on with Sims2 EA.com? I know it says it's under maintaince, but it's been down for weeks are they planning on reopening the site?

I'm looking for the sims 2 university letterman jacket in a slim bodybuilder mesh. I have some male SBBs in my game and figure you can't have a uni football jock without muscles right?
If anyone knows where I might find one, or has one to share it would be greatly Appreciated.

I once had a mod object that would age sims from the neighborhood, wether NPC,Townie, or sims from my other lots as they entered the lot I was playing at the time. Sort of like what sims 3 does now. I've dumped my downloads a few times since then, and obviously didn't save this particular mod. I was wondering if anyone knew where I might find it once again?

Does anyone know if there is a mesh for the uni letterman jacket for the slimmer bodybuilder ?
I know there are some sites that have recolors of the jacket, but if you're going to have a jock, he may as well look the part, right?

Anyway, if anyone has seen one, I would love to hear about it.

I would love to see a college prof career, one where your sim actualy teaches at whichever uni you put in your game. Maybe something along the lines of TashaFaun's NPC mega careers, only better. Maybe start out as an under grad teaching assistant, and end as A tenured Professor, with some interesting positions along the way. Don't know if it can be done, but would be great if it could.

Well, thanks anyway. Believe me, I appritiate what all the cc creators do, tried to do some in simpe myself, and failed miserably.

Is there anyone out there who can make the re-buildable car in Freetime look more like a classic vehicle from the 60s or 70s, maybe something a little more unusual, not your typical camaro, or challenger, etc. Would be great to see an early falcon, or chevyIISS (Nova), or a 69 RamblerSC. Just think it would make the game more exciting, to have some variety in the re-build, instead of just one odd looking car, with a couple of diffeent colors.
