I just went to start my game. No new downloads, nothing added, nothing taken away. Last time I played my game it was intact with my custom neighborhood and all my downloads.
So, just now, I put in the disk and let it start.
Everything is set back to default, like I just installed the game.
No custom neighborhood, and my download folder is GONE!
I have never heard of this, and have no idea how/why it happened.
All I know is that this marks the end of my Sims journey. Having to spend the time it will take to restore my game the way I had it takes the fun away.
I'm so disappointed right now, I can't even explain....

I see alot of in game photos that have objects placed at an angle. Is it a cheat that makes this possible? If not, how the heck do you do it? Haha

I'm hoping some of you might know of some sites that have a good amount of new and recolored build objects. More specifically, I'm looking for new or recolored stairs (including modular).
BTW, I have gone through this site and MTS without much luck.

I'm having a bit of a problem, and its got me scratching my head.
I found a site today that I'd never seen, and they have some great sets that I wanted to use to create a new shopping district. For some reason, every single item causes my game to crash on startup. I thought maybe it was a compatibility issue (I have base, UNI, NL, OFB).
That wasn't the problem though, because its even happening with sets and items that only need the base game. I've tried the full set in a folder, and then went so far as to try each item individually.
Its very odd, but every one of them crash my game when its about halfway loaded. It happened ONLY with the items from this particular site.
Has anyone had this happen, or heard of such a thing?

I was wondering if there's a program that enables us to create our own Townies and NPC's?
I would love to be able to create my own, and not be stuck with Goopy and the gang!
If there is such a thing, where can I grab it?!

Hi everyone.
First I'm wondering about 'empty packages'. I'm working with Clean Installer and I have a a bunch of them, and they are highlighted pink. They files have names like 698765asd319ass49746.package
Can anyone tell me what these 'empty packages' are/do?

Second, I'm pretty sure there's nothing that can be done about this, but I just thought I'd ask if its at all possible to choose which maid answers when you call to hire one? Its not a huge issue, but something about a guy coming to be my maid sort of creeps me out!
Is it possible at all?
