1  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Discussion / Bringing NPC Pregnancies To Term on: November 08, 2010, 01:54:06 pm
Here's something that bothers me: I have a number of NPCs that are pregnant, most notably the maid Kaylynn Langerak.  The thing is after a lengthy number of time with these NPCs walking around town or as in the maid's case coming into a home to clean, deliver something or visit, they never show their preganancy and have never given birth, while other female household members have given birth and the babies have grown up.  Is there anyway to have a NPC show their pregnancy and/or give birth without moving them into a home lot?  While I'm sure that's the easiest way (Objects like the SimBlender don't work on NPCs), I don't want to have a NPC who's been a servant lose their job and be replaced by another servant (I like having Kaylynn being the maid for a particular house).  Thanks!
2  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Ghosts float, right? on: December 03, 2009, 09:15:15 pm
Here's a peeve: If ghosts can float and all, how come on the Goth estate they never float upstairs into the house and just hang out in the yard and in the Nina and Dina household the ghost will just hang out on the first floor?  They're ghosts! They should be floating all over the place doin' their ghost stuff, annoying my Sims and me too.  So, is there a hack that gets ghosts to expand their haunting boundaries, that gets them to float around a house, upstairs and downstairs, in the yard, in the kitchen, in the basement, in the attic, perferably without being too controlled (though controlling a ghost might be fun too, if you could actually develop a relationship with one, pirate ghost not withstanding)?  I could move the gravestones into the Goth house and turn them into urns, I know, but that just doesn't seem sensible and I like how the gravestones look in the yard, giving it some interest, so any info on a hack or effort to make one would of course be appreciated.  Thanks, folks!
