Just as a FYI, but there has been a lot of issues regarding Lindasim recently. I have doubts you'll find someone who is willing to pay that much for maybe one or two meshes. Plus, they're known for making very high-poly meshes, and not always with the best playability (often better for taking pictures and simple posing).

You're likely better off finding someone else to take your request, or maybe finding some meshes that would work. I'm sure there's something usable available already, possibly even ingame.

Maybe you could even try recoloring them yourself - these would likely be good beginner projects, since you have several full textures to work with (you can get a few photo editing programs for free, such as Gimp)

There's not a lot of activity here at Insim of late. You can give it a try over at GoS (Wishing Tree), but make sure to read the rules in that topic, because they're somewhat strict on how to write a request, and what's allowed in it (pictures, description, etc.)

It does take you to the mesh, it seems. That one is a multi-state mesh, where the headband and hat are alpha-editable in the texture. There's a picture of the simple version on the previous page (pg30, scroll down). All of them use the same mesh but there's 3 different sets of recolors. XM has a few sets like this.

Links have been (more or less) fixed. Not sure if I found the original link to the meshes at Synapticsims, but the ones in the post only linked to the front page.

This download topic hasn't seen a post since 2009, and links don't always survive that long, unfortunately.

A lot of creators aren't around the community any longer, so a lot of sites are down. Some can be accessed via having been archived manually to the Graveyard --> https://www.simsgraveyard.com/sims-2-downloads/ or fully to the Internet Archive --> https://archive.org/web/, but others are permanently inaccessible. If you're lucky, it could be that some people have the files.

If you have M&G, that's considered your latest EP. It's a "mini-EP" since the latest release and was piggy-backing off of AL's game engine or core functions, which had several changes from the earlier games. If you don't have M&G, then AL is your latest.

You'll want to use the latest EP/M&G as your base for changes in the game unless otherwise noted. You may also want to use the Bodyshop that comes with M&G (if that's your latest). Not sure if there are any changes between the AL and M&G version other than possibly some added items (which most likely would be read by the wrong version), but at least you don't end up with mods that don't work if you install them in the wrong place as per potentially confusing instructions.

---

The UC doesn't use Pets to run, but it uses the title card from the "Fun with Pets" compilation pack, which is a completely different thing - that original compilation had Pets, Family Fun and M&G - M&G is kinda the clue there, not Pets.

There's been several compilation packs that have 3-4 packs in them, and the UC has most of them in the setup (no idea why) - Double Deluxe was released quite early on (in a few variations), then University Life, Fun With Pets and Best of Business as three separate compilations in one go, some time after AL and M&G were released as separate packs.

https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/Compilations_of_The_Sims_2

Regardless of compilations and the UC, original release order of the separate packs (separate EPs and M&G in particular) is still what decides which is your newest EP/SP.

Is Pets your latest EP (by release)?

Technically it should be enough to do it for your latest EP by release (or M&G if you've got it or the full UC), but it's probably not a bad idea to change all of them.

The bodyshop-spesific changes you only really need to do for the Bodyshop files, but it doesn't hurt to do them for both sets of files so they're identical. If you later do some changes on the game-set and copy those over to the bodyshop set, you could end up overwriting the Bodyshop changes, which is annoying when you end up realizing it after a couple Bodyshop projects have gone wrong again.

Fun With Pets and SP9. From there I think it's the same path.

(If you search "Sims 2 fix Bodyshop" on Google, that link is usually the first result that pops up - in case you ever need it again and can't find this topic. Easy to remember Wink )

Have you tried this?
https://www.wikihow.com/Fix-Your-Body-Shop-Settings-in-The-Sims-2

Also, have you made sure the project is a 1024x1024 and not a 512x512 project? Some items have 512x sizes (face textures, toddler and baby bodies, makeup, some hairs and accessories, toddler clothes, etc.)

Just in case it helps with the locating - where did you find the picture?

Have you looked in their SFS folder?

I tried fixing the link, since it points to the old "net" version of Insim, but that didn't help. I think at some point Kathy's downloads were deleted/removed, so it's not just that set of recolors that's gone missing. Looks like there are some recolors in the original set, though.

This link should work (also fixed on the first page)
http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,21326.0.html

---

Small tip if you find a broken Insim link is to copy the number at the end and replace it in a working link,

(In this case "21326", and this link is the dead one, by the way)
http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=21326

and paste it into the address bar behind the comma in the first page of any topic, for instance this one, in the place where I've bolded the text:
http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,21850.0.html

so it turns into a working link:
http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,21326.0.html

It works for most Insim links as long as the original and new links have the same topic numbers.

I think the original Simsinparis site unfortunately is one of the dead/gone sites. Link has been removed above.

You can try this link from the graveyard: https://archive.liquidsims.com/mirror/Sims%20In%20Paris/simsinparis.net/

If you find dead links like this, you can try the wayback machine --> https://archive.org/web/ or see if there's a replacement link or if the files are up at the graveyard --> https://www.simsgraveyard.com/site-news/sims-graveyard-is-live/ (links for already archived or existing sites can be found to the left when you click "Downloads"). If you're looking for single files, see if they've been reuploaded somewhere (For instance, Packrat at Tumblr often helps out if anything has gone missing, and there's quite the searchable archive over there already --> https://sims2packrat.tumblr.com/ )

(Just a FYI, some of the older archived Sims sites can have iffy ads and/or clickable links and invisible overlays that could have some potential harmful stuff in them, so make sure you have a good antivirus program, and preferably also adblock when browsing around, just in case - I've mostly not had issues, but have come across a couple sites I immediately had to abandon).

Insim has been through a few changes the past year, so all the .net and /showthread links might not work properly, but they're usually easy to fix.

Tip if old links for Insim no longer works - copy a working link, put the number from the link that doesn't work into the working link, and see if it goes to the correct place:

Old link:
http://www.insimenator.org/showthread.php?t=40810

Random working link:
http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,72291.0.html

Put the number from the old link in the bolded area here:
http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,40810.0.html

and the new link should work fine.

http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,40810.0.html

(Since Enayla hasn't been on here for a long while, I've edited two of the links in the original post so they point to the proper pages here on Insim, including the mesh link. The third "net" link pointed toward a page that seemed to not exist any longer, so I let it be. The rest of the links are very old and the sites may not be around, so keep that in mind before clicking them).

I wish I could dream about being bored, because maybe I could actually sleep through the night, but oh no - my brain goes all "but I want to go on a big adventure and wake up in the middle of the night, and then go on a different adventure and wake up late enough to not be able to fall asleep again" - I mean, what's that all about? Lately there's been modern werewolf hunts, medieval dramas, wannabe forest horror, a mix of Minecraft and some other games, plus being stuck at work (that's by far the worst one, though - I don't want to be at work when I'm sleeping angry ), and all sorts of other strange things.
