Pink as in the "pink-flashy color" pink? If it's ingame, it's most likely a regular pink-flashy issue. I assume it can be fixed like you can fix/reset other pink-flashy issues, or possibly by resetting the thumbnail (it's either ctrl/alt/shift and right-click).
(I've had it happen in Bodyshop (probably also CAS, haven't tested) with extracted sims recently, but only after I did the DXVK fix at MTS, and when Bodyshop also loads up all my CAS CC. I got somewhat around it by loading in less CC and fewer sims, and resetting the caches. Not by any means a perfect fix, though. A few of the sims I had to re-extract, and some didn't want to work. I'm guessing it's a texture memory issue, like it is ingame, but I've never seen it happening in Bodyshop before. Could be Bodyshop also needs to be running on the DXVK or some such).

I haven't used this mod, but I'd think the ones you can call are the ones available in the neighborhood. By default, 3 maids are made. If you have mods that reduce the amount of NPCs made (nospawnNPC mods, noredundancy, and possibly others), then only the available NPCs would show.

Not sure if anyone is still keeping track of this story from here, but I just wanted to let you know I'm still working on it, if slowly.
I've had some computer issues (both my simming computers couldn't be used for simming any longer, first the main one going due to motherboard/RAM issues, and then some strange issues with the laptop, and the new one still has pink flashing issues I need to sort out) and I've worked full-time the past 2-3 years in addition to having some health issues the past year or so, which is why the next chapter has been on a long hiatus. Hoping to get to it very soon, though.
Lately I've done some story maintenance (grammar errors, some medical annoyances, and maybe a few other things) and I also had to fix the pictures because Tinypic decided to throw in the towel. I've fixed the chapters I've posted here previously, and I'm working on the rest (I'm done to ch. 34 as of now). Preview pictures haven't been fixed yet, but I'll get to it eventually. On the first page I've linked to the full chapter list.

Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: Question about crossdressing males on sims?

You can't do it only with Bodyshop. You need SimPE and a meshing program, because otherwise there will be a significant gap between the neck and the clothes.
(Clothes can easily be gender-swapped between child/toddler/infant by changing the "gender" line in SimPE or in the Wardrobe Wrangler, but teens/adults/elders have very different necks between the genders. It is possible to gender-swap clothes the same way for the older ages, but you'll nearly always get a very ugly neck gap that looks like their head has half been cut off. Most hairs and face accessories will get similar issues when genderswapped because the male and female heads have a different placement and size).

Try running it as admin (right-click shortcut or EXE, Properties, compability, tick the "run as admin" box) I've got an ASUS laptop with Win7, and that's what worked for me.
Like Hobbes said, you need to use the proper EXE. Not sure if there are multiple ones in the UC, but the one in the SP9 folder is the right one.

Before you reinstall the rest of your games you may want to do a backup of your saved game files (in the Documents folder) if you don't want to lose them or want to replace them. Basically just copy the entire folder to an external harddrive or to a safe spot on your computer if you have enough space.
It should also be possible to repair the games via Origin if they're registered there. Again, take a backup.
Copy the entire bolded folder below, and sort out the files you need later. C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 C:\Users\Kine\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 C:\Users\Kine\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 (folder paths may vary with game version, and computer OS + setup)
You can also try to rename the folder and let the game regenerate a new one (this is the safest and quickest way to "reinstall" and at the same doing a "backup" of the folder as long as there's nothing wrong with the install files. I think it works for all 3 games). It's also the easiest way to test if there's something wrong in the saved game, because all you need to do to go back to your old game is to rename or delete the new folder, and fix the folder name for the old one.

An antivirus program can be the problem. Have you tried to whitelist or exclude the Sims folders in the antivirus program?
I've had Avast earlier, and didn't notice anything like this. Never heard of Bullguard.
For sims 2, you need to look in the screenshot folders in the neighborhood folder for the neighborhood you played. The separate screenshot folder won't have your pictures.

Are you using a screenshot program, and which one is it?
First of all, make sure the screnshot program is actually running before you run your game. (I've used Gadwin Printscreen for a long while, and back when I used XP or Vista I could set it to run at startup, but on my laptop with Win7 the setting doesn't work, so I have tos tart it manually)
Second, if the program won't take pictures of your game when running in fullscreen, or returns a black picture (I've also had this problem with Gadwin previously), try running the games in windowed mode. (It's possible to have one shortcut for full mode and one for windowed).
