I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this. If it isn't, feel free to move it.

I recently bought a community lot for a grocery store, but it always starts out as a new business rank (i.e. Rank 0-4). Even though I already moved the store from the residential lot to the community lot, the ranks didn't transfer. Is there a possibility that this can be done? (I'll admit, I'm not the brightest bulb on the chandelier when it comes to running Sim businesses and this is my third one.) I mean, it wouldn't hurt to keep my ranks after I move the business to a community lot, likewise, if I can bring in some of the more loyal customers in on the move, that'd be great!

Since this here's reserved for general ballyhoo, I thought I might have some fun! I'm sure you can relate to some of the situations I post up here and I'm sure I might relate to yours, so feel free to post some of your own situations on this thread if you feel like laughing at yourself. 

You ever had one of those days where you found out that you're really good at making a fool of yourself?

I know I had those days! I have a tendency to lean more towards the creative side of my mad little brain and less towards the logic side, which can be a blessing in some areas (such as art and dancing) and a curse in others (such as short-term memory). The short-term memory curse is evident in some of my posts on Insimenator and a few hours after my post, I'm like "Wtf was I talking about?!"  For example, I recently had a little...*ahem* issue with building a hotel, and I was looking for a way to make the doors look more according to the time period. Then a good moderator told me about a mod that was already on MTS which I was semi-aware of; or rather, I was aware of its existence, but not its uses. As soon as I found that out, I had a "Homer Simpson" moment in my den. (For those not from the USA, that's like a spare living room) I'm sure some other uploaders/moderators that I came in contact with have similar stories with this one.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest, feel free to share some of your silly stories!

Ah, thanks Joy!

Okie dokie, well, I have every expansion pack except for Free Time and Bon Voyage, and really, I'd just like to have more realistic doors for the hotel. It's not that I dislike the Myne doors, I just want to keep within the time period, y'know? As far as stuff packs go, I have no stuff packs, so I hope that makes things easier.

Whoops! Did I say "Myne Doors"? I meant the Unique Separator doors! Frabbit! 

Is there a possibility where someone could make any door an apartment door? I'm building a 1912-era hotel and I dislike having to use the Myne Doors for it. If there already is a mod for that, please post the link below.
