When I left this place.. The original owners were still here, and now looking back, kathy seemed sincere, but.. From all the info I read, I think it was all just a act. I've been out of the loop for awhile now, and I heard a little about this, I heard the site had been sold, I was in shock. It's still hard to believe that two peole who seemed trust worthy and honest were really living off the donation money. Money people gave to keep the site on line, to keep downloads, and friendships they had here.. And they had no issue with that.

I am glad that Insim did NOT die, and the site feels more, real now. None of the fake niceness that was portrayed before. Thank you guys for keeping this site up and for posting this thread, I needed to be filled in.

I still love Sims 2, I will probably not pack this one away like I did with the Sims. BUT, after many hours of being confused as to why nothing is working (yea.... I neglected to correctly install downloads.. Yep.... ) I love the patterns, I can now edit anything I like, I no longer need extra downloads for a certain look, I can just use patterns which are smaller in size. I like the new system for wishes, now my sims don't go insane when their wants are not met. That got old and annoying quick. I don't like how its not as easy to switch house holds, I miss that a lot. The camera for me is awkward. But, I will give it time, it is growing on me. Just have to wait for more and more content to come out. 

Last movie I saw in a theater was Up! I thought it'd be a wonderful idea to go see the movie on my due date.. Nothing happened.. Had her at 6:19 AM next day, so last movie that we seen before having a child was.. A children's movie.

Thank you! I have missed the community.. It beats gettin called a n00b and being ganked all day. And there is a good chance that while playing Sims 2 or 3 I will not start screaming random obscenities at my PC.. So much has changed since I've been gone. 

I play, Sims 3, WoW (not much of surprise considering my nick and my pic ), L4D, L4D 2, Oblivion, FEAR, FEAR 2, and various FB apps..

I am probably in the majority here, but I would get me a new job.. No interview process or educational needs! I can just open up my news paper or go online and become a doctor!

I haven't been involved in the Sims community in a long time. I completely missed this place going to hell. Kinda sad, but I think this version of insim OWNS over the old. Great job! 

Lets see, I'm 23 years old, and I have a now 6 month old daughter, who takes up a good portion of my time. Hence why I am on a WoW break. I recently purchased Sims 3 and got the Sims bug again.
