17  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: Decorative carport? on: April 19, 2011, 04:12:16 pm
Here's one way to build one, it's only a tutorial on how to build your own carport connecting to your house but it looks really nice, just as nice as anything premade.  http://thesims2.ea.com/exchange/story_detail.php?asset_id=53552  if this is the incorrect way to link I apologize, It came from ea's sim2 exchange, in their stories section.  Also buntah has some nice canopies that make great driveway carports some are even come with lights, but I'm not positive where I found those.  But I did see them being shown at Linda's Sims2 Blog.  Alot of canopies can be used successfully as carports with the moveobjects cheat on.  It will not block your cars from coming and going.  Hope this gives you some decent options and maybe a few ideas of where to look next.

I need to stop looking at baby stuff, I really miss those days.  Someone throw a bucket of ice water on me so I snap outta this notion that having a baby sounds good again. lol Stupid

Your stuff is always so darned cute I forget about all the work it is to have them.  And that initial pain of bringing them into the world, yea that soberred me up.  Adorable as always Theraven.

Just do what I do caffeinated.joy,
register at netflix and get a free month of movies, then register a month later with a different account and get another free month lol.  I've watched some really cool movies and television series this way.  Ok so after the 2nd month we bought a subscription, but the method works.

I am currently waiting for my son to arrive home from school, going to have a short week, spring break for the kiddies starts wednesday!  No more 6am mornings for atleast a week, works for me. Grin

I voted for other , I'm labeled crazy and if I were paid a nickel for everytime I heard it, I would have retired a wealthy woman by now.  Padded walls and all.  Yes it annoys me to hear it, but aren't we all just a little bit crazy sometimes.  We can't always behave like drones.  So embrace you crazy it's what seperates us from the herd.

25  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Will my computer be able to handle more than one EP? on: April 12, 2011, 12:09:39 am
Well for any of us to answer that question we would have to know how much space you have on your hard drive and also how much is already being used.  cdrive right click properties to see the pie graph.

Wow Theraven, chocolate makes you smart!  I've been self teaching myself japanese for 4years and still only know the first 50 words I learned the first year lol.  Anatomy in Latin has to be difficult, very cool your learning that.

I am currently relaxing after cleanning / dusting my entire desk and pc inside out.  Looks good, I give myself 3 days before mucking it up again.

I bought chocolate sundae cones.  Had to get a fix in.  But your cakes always sound so much better, I am currently trying not to fall asleep in my chair *yawn.

I really sympathize your indecision of which ep to choose though.  I love freetime, apartmentlife, and seasons.  For the longest time I only had up to BonVoyage installed, minus Seasons.  I'd hate to go back to that.  All 3 have great additions to gameplay.  Alas I'm going to stand by apartmentlife though, witches and apartments are cool to me!
29  Simmers' Paradise / Where Can I Find...? / Re: Grass cutter on: April 09, 2011, 02:42:50 pm
Sims2farm has some farm stuff lol.  So does woodforsims, I have their barnstuff pack in my game.  Wish I could have found a riding lawn mower but they were all push mowers.  The old time push mowers were all I could find sorry.  Both of these sites I mention are paysites, but if you like them you know where you can find them.

ea has the complete list each one with details on system requirements/ep details/ and the size will be also listed, they also have downloadable copies you can buy right from their site.  But you knew that, or not, it would be easier for you to decide what you'd enjoy most.  And what would use up the less on your laptop.
