NO WORRIES  ANYMORE!

I FIXED IT, I FORGOT I DIDNT PUT THEM AS SIMSTANDARDMATERIAL.

On the OFF file i put both as SimStandardMaterial
On the ON file i put the frame as SimStandardMaterial  and the lens as StandardMaterial



And Everything is working how i want!

Hello everyone!
I AM HONESTLY SICK OF HAVING PROBLEMS WITH AN ACCESORY!
EACH FREAKIN TIME I DO ONE IT ALWAYS DOEANT WORK HOW I WANT!

so i wanted to know if you could help me on this by telling me what to do or, id maybe ask you if you could honestly do it for me like Really!!!!!

The problem is that when i move the camera the mesh's two subsets merges in through.
There is a Frame and 4 lens Subsets  with different opacity settings but i dont know which ones to put.

Tho frame is set to -1
and a lens subset also set to -1 since it doesnt has any transparency

Hi you all! Smiley

I am curently doing a second mesh using Poser 7.0, that i optimized with 3DSmax 8.

And I finished assigning all of the Right Hand ( which means all the fingers and such) and i was wondering as, there is a duplicating option, the same hand would have all the assingments done but obviously saved on the same Right bones.




But what i mean is that i want to know if there is a way i could change the bones names and for example replacing R_hand to L_hand, by keeping the assignments.

Coz its alot of work i mean i passed a hole day for this one hand so if there is a way to export that to 3dsmax and doing it there so i could maybe re importing it on milkshape then i unno but i really need your help! D:

If i understand correctly you making a object that has a selfmade skeleton?
This has never been done before and i doubt if you get it working....

you should atleast start with a excisting skeleton/object as far as i know.


Oh i think i found a tutorial whic hexplains how to create your own skeleton!
But whoa hits way confusing -_-

Hi all First I'd like to say that I've seen

Echo's custom Object Animation Tutorialhttp://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=239160

But i got a problem maybe it wasn't really enough for me to understand how i could Export this AlbumBook + The created Skeleton i did for it and have it working in SimPE with all the hierachy and stuff.






Animation mode:



There is also this problem, that pops up when i export with the Unimesh Exporter: ERR: No quaternion values stored


So yeah i went to do some research of this problem there at mts
and i see that the problem was that there were numbers missing in the bones comments: all of them are empty.
And these make the skeleton shape in SimPE.



So yeah if someone there could help me having this object working & with the capacity of being animated  in game id be so greatful!

You prolly need Maya for it.
Its not possible in Milkshape as far as i know.

Hello everyone!
I would like to know if it was possible to have 2 models in milshape with all their joints/skeleton so i can animated them and do an animation together.

The thing is that i tried so many things like renaming the joints and all of that but then their bone assignments would lost their info and bla blahh....

Is there like another program that would handle this?
but then how can i export the animation and get it in as a .5an file.
