If you found it suddenly stopped loading fully, after downloading some CC, take out all the CC you dowloaded recently (by looking at date modified, you can see when you downloaded it), and then try and start up the game. If it has only recently started crashing, it is almost certainly a piece of buggy CC - it could be anything. If the game does load, gradually bring back the CC you added, and keep loading the game. You will eventually find out which piece of CC caused the problem.


Unless it's just a very slow loading time, of course. My PC take 10 mins excatly to load.

Sims 2. The custom content has changed a seemingly ugly game with good potential into a masterpiece...and it will take a lot to do the same for sims 3. The graphics have been made too cartoony - and of course pudding-like - and the game has become less functional, although more features were introduced.

Thank you very much, megativity13! I would never have found those myself! You've made my day - to top it all, I discovered that the hairline the premade sim I mentioned in my first post used was a recolor of the eyecandy hairlines in your first link.

Of course, I wouldn't want to necessarily clutter up my downloads folder when my integrated ancient intel graphics chipset is already threatening to bork my game! Good tip though!

I once downloaded a sim which came with a gorgeous dark red hair line categorized as full face make up, but I have no idea where it got to. I've had a look at MTS2, where I only came across this, which shows the basic idea:

What I'm looking for is a smooth hair line in all different colours, for female sims, to put with hairstyles that have high hairlines, to fill the gap and give a more seamless natural look.

If anyone knows where I could get something like this from (I've googled, MTS2'd, and looked at the sims 2 wiki, but to no avail), I will forever in your debt! Thanks in advance!

She is gorgeous! What skin tone is that? And the make up too? I've downloaded so much but can't seem to find the top quality make up! Everyone has such beautiful sims!

So cute, I love multiple births  That's why I'm planning on being a midwife in real life, and maybe specialising in helping women with twins +!

Anyway, my sims Brooke and Spencer Tyas' have twin girls:




Unfortunately, my first generation couple seemed to have given all their children a strange flat nose and raised cheek bones, so I can't do side profile pics! They were both good looking sims, but the gene combination obviously didn't go so well, and now all the descendants are looking pretty rough!

I have too many people in my neighbourhood to do this, would lag too much! Did it once for a wedding party...

Hmm... I wish I knew how to make hacks!

I don't actually know if this exists, but in case it does, has anyone seen a hack where you can call and invite whole families (lots, if you like), or even multiple sims at once? NOT a party.

I would love to invite my sims' extended families over for dinner etc., without having to invite them all separately, use a teleporter or have a party. Also, a way to invite over toddlers and babies. It's not because I'm lazy, it's because it would make the game a bit more realistic!
