That was a good idea except for the fact that its cloned from the BV grand piano so its on 6 tiles instead of four so the organ sits really far out from the wall making it look strange and not fit in the realistically small homes that cluttered the world in that time period, plus using moveobjects on and pushing it back causes sims to walk to the other side of the wall and complain. to tell the truth I really don't mind if it has a piano's sound as long as it's small enough to fit in an apartment and has that classic dated 70s/80s look.

Thanks but actually I already have this set and it's more of a church type organ. I'm Looking for a retro cheapy home organ like what was popular in homes in the 70s and 80s. Thanks for your help though.

Hi everyone. I am once again playing the sims 2 but I need some help to find to find a retro electric organ of some sort for sims 2. I have searched everywhere that i know and I even googled it over and over again.

Thank you so much, this is exactly what i needed 

What I meant was that I "don't" like package but I do like sims3pack. Packages installed through the mods folder make my game crash, freeze, and generally slow to a point where it threatens the health of my mac computer. By the way the packages in the DCBackup folder are not the issue, the real problem is finding objects that install using the sims 3 launcher which is difficult due to the fact that everyone seems to think that .packages have some weird quality about them making them superior to sims3pack installer, but (and this is just my opinion) I don't believe that at all.

Good info but sadly, in the many times I'v googled it I'v clicked on everything only to find that either it's for sims 2 or if it is for sims 3 it's a .package file.
I dont trust .packages because they lag or crash my game so I keep them "very" limited as the sims 3 is all i have left

I always had a lot of fallout 3 stuff for sims 2 but now that by brand new laptop died, i got i got back into the sims 3 but i miss the fallout stuff i had like chairs and deco that was constantly used in my homes. If anyone knows were to find fallout furniture and clutter in sims3pack format i would be eternally grateful if you would give me a link.

I was quite happy when late night released pianos for sims 3, but i was shocked to find out that there was only a keyboard and a grand piano.
Most homes cant fit a grand and I really don't think that a modern keyboard looks all that attractive in the living room of a 1920s house.
So I am asking if anyone knows where I can find an upright piano thats playable with late night, like the the sims 2 BG piano.
Must be sims3pack file, package slows/crashes my game.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm asking you for help yet again because I'v searched every where and can not find a piano with custom sound. As a blues pianist I got tired of all the classical music sims play on the piano when you have reached full skill.Don't get me wrong classical's cool but its not really my favourite style, and the piano's preform options that came with Uni are repetitive and don't sound that great without the other instruments. So basically, I need help to find a piano (doesn't matter what it looks like) that plays more modern songs, but not ballads! from the 1940's at oldest, So my favourite instrument doesn't seem so bland in the game.

once again i need help finding something that i have looked everywhere for and can never find, a decorative old window sash, and no i do not mean a fancy window, i mean a old wooden window pane thats leaning up against the wall, laying on the floor, and so forth, as if it had been removed from the window frame and set aside. i build a lot of abandoned buildings and junk yards and having clutter window sashes laying around is just that little detail that i'm having trouble living without, plus in real life i collect old window sashes so my self sim isn't really complete with out a yard full of windows .

first of all i must thank theraven for finding that antique piano from the cottage set, i downloaded it and its beautiful but still not what i'v been looking for. what i mean is like a 50s, 60s, 70s, or 80s studio piano. basically think the basegame upright piano but simpler and way shorter. try searching studio piano on google and see what images come up, as i understand that most people don't know what the names of all the different piano types are.
Oh!, and megativity13 thanks for the link to the mini piano, the pic only loaded a quarter of the way (dial up) so i don't know what it looks like but i downloaded it and will test it out tonight
PS. my dial up is so stubborn that it won't let me upload on 3rd party image hosting sites so i cant have images, sorry
