I'm just wondering if anyone on here can help me in making these pieces of clothing. All should be based on Marvine and Beosboxboy's Slimmer Bodybuilder body shape. Pictures are provided below.

Aha, great! Smiley Thank you Engram!

Thank you for the suggestions Engram and Simsplyr -- I can't tell you how thankful I am for the much-needed help Smiley  Fanku2 Hug4

Fortunately, I *think* I've managed to solve the problem, but more testing is needed. Basically, after removing a gardening mod I'd found here, I had the "affected" family move (let's call them Family A) into a friend's place (let's call them Family B), played the now combined households for a good while, then had Family A move back to the affected lot (which was now completely empty thanks to the move), then began re-furnishing the house. Once that was done, I started playing Family A again, on the same lot, and so far I've not encountered problems (Prof. Ebony Lynn is even back in Semin's phone book, which is a good sign).

I know it probably doesn't matter now, but I wish to address both of you individually Smiley

To Simsplyr: The weird thing was, even though I'd keep getting these strange messages from the Prof. like she was *actually* on the lot, she was no where to be found on the lot...like maybe she was invisible or something. Just for the heck of it, I checked the whole lot (to see if maybe she was hiding under a bed or something, LOL) and she was no where to be found. The only places I keep locked on the lot are the gates (to disallow pets/strays) and the master bedroom.

To Engram: I don't use the boolprop testingcheatsenabled true/false cheat much -- only when I want to impregnate a male and make him have a normal baby that looks like the father (and I don't really like adopting Sims via the phone), and when I want to rename a Sim. So, I'm not sure what debug mode is, though I have seen it in the pie menu. Honestly, I'm afraid to click on stuff I don't know anything about, out of fear I'll screw my game up, haha.  Lips Sealed
Also, if you could give me a link to the Bat Box, I'd appreciate it. Even though my problem seems to be solved, I'd still like to have the handy box in case something like this does happen again. Smiley

Again, thank you both very much ^_^
6  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Strange Problem... on: August 28, 2010, 07:25:47 pm
I've been wondering if I should post this or not, but after having just played my game again, and seeing that the problem didn't correct itself like I'd hoped, I decided to post my question. Yesterday I was playing my game, and a college professor friend of one of my Simmies called him (don't ask me why he's friends with a Uni professor, lol). At the time, the gardener was over doing his job (and complaining). After the Uni professor "Prof. Ebony" and the Sim were finished talking, I directed the same male Sim to go outside and pull the weeds/trim the shrubs the gardener, for whatever reason, refused to manicure. Because it is now Winter in my game, the Sim changed into some Outerwear (Using a mod I found here that allows for more Outerwear clothing options) and then started pulling weeds/trimming shrubs. A short while later, I got this weird pop-up message from Prof. Ebony (I wrote it down, even). It said: "Prof. Ebony says, 'You invited me over to spend the night, but then you didn't let me get any sleep! I'm leaving!'" Now, prior to this, I had NEVER ONCE invited her over to my sims' house to spend the night! At any rate, now I can't get the damn pop-up to go away; it'll pop-up, I'll click "OK" then, sometimes not even a few seconds later, it'll pop-up again! Seriously, it's driving me insane! What's more, it only affects the sim's home lot; as a test, I sent him to a Community Lot and didn't get the stupid pop-up. I was thinking it could be the Outerwear mod, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is a great idea Cheesy I'm so tired of the Gardener complaining that they can't water my Simmies flowers because they're surrounded by a measly fence.

9  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / EA Download Manager on: August 26, 2010, 11:15:25 pm
Hi all! In the past few days I've been browsing the myriad of topics here and of particular interest was the discussions about SecuROM. To tell the truth, I didn't know anything about it being secretly installed in the later Sims 2 EPs. I know it now, though, and it is a little unnerving. I'm sorry if this has already been discussed (though I did do a search before I started this topic) but here's my question. I don't own any EP past Seasons (though have been thinking about getting FT) and recently about two or so months ago, I received Seasons and Best of Business Collection (because I didn't have OFB prior to that) for my birthday. I installed Seasons first, then Business Collection, but use the Business Collection disc because the Seasons disk makes the main startup screen freeze for some reason. At any rate, when I was installing the latter, I also had to download something called EA Downloads Manager. Is this that SecuROM thing or is it something different? Even though I don't use the internet while I play, I'm still a little concerned. Could someone tell me what it is? Thanks Smiley

Man, that house would be PERFECT for one of my gay couples! It really is fantastic looking. It's just a shame I don't have EP 8 SadSadSad

Thanks for this! I'm so tired of seeing my sims use the garage doors, when there's a door inside the garage that leads INTO THE HOUSE! >.<

When I seen this thread, I knew I just had to post! This is a picture I took in game of my Alex Ovechkin sim after he just....well, let's just say he cut one after eating, lol. The funniest thing about this picture, I think anyway, is the look on Alex's face. I was literally in tears for about 15 minutes from laughing so hard. He is in college with his buddies, Alexander Semin, Nicklas Backstrom and Mike Green (Mike is the one with the mohawk in the background) Also, that damn Evil Mascot NPC is there as well.

Awesome pictures, everyone! Smiley

I do a fair bit of taking pictures in my game, but I rarely share them here. *bad Admin* This is a recent one I took for a contest, and I'm rather fond of it.

CJ, that's so beautiful. Russian couple I'm guessing? Also, where did you find those cool windows, and the ushanka (black furry hat) that the male is wearing?

This is great! Like the rest of the users here, I too was disappointed with the selection of outerwear for my simmies Sad Thank you for doing this lovely mod -- now my simmies will have better outerwear *hugs* Smiley
15  Simmers' Paradise / General Sims 2 Help / Re: Disappearing Impresso Espress -o- Matic on: August 16, 2010, 06:35:32 pm
Thank you. I'll try that and post my results Smiley

**UPDATE**

OK, I tried taking both the custom major and career out of my Downloads folder, tested the game, and the object still isn't there. After that, I decided to try uninstalling Uni (I backed up my files first, of course) and then re-installed it; the object is still missing. I'm going to look through the most recent Custom Content I've downloaded and see if maybe that's the problem. I will keep you posted.

**UPDATE 2**

Well, I checked my most recent CC and that doesn't seem to be the problem either. I'm at a complete loss. In the meantime, I've substituted the espresso cart for the regular self-serve espresso machine on community lots.
